Bridges are natural-looking dental appliances that can replace a section of missing teeth. Because they are custom-made, bridges are barely noticeable and can restore the natural contour of teeth as well as the proper bite relationship between upper and lower teeth. Bridges are sometimes referred to as fixed partial dentures, because they are semi-permanent and are bonded to existing teeth or implants.
Anyone who participates in a sport that carries a significant risk of injury should wear a mouth protector. Sports like basketball, baseball, gymnastics, and volleyball all pose risks to your gum tissues, as well as your teeth. We usually think of football and hockey as the most dangerous to the teeth, but nearly half of sports-related mouth injuries occur in basketball and baseball.
Are dental amalgams safe? Is it possible to have an allergic reaction to amalgam? Is it true that dental amalgams have been banned in other countries? Is there a filling material that matches tooth color? If my tooth doesn't hurt and my filling is still in place, why would the filling need to be replaced?
Before development of dental implants, dentures were the only alternative to replacing a missing tooth or teeth. Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root. Implants are anchored to the jawbone or metal framework on the bone and act as a foundation for an artificial tooth or permanent bridge.

This is a HUGE step up from kool smiles and pine dentistry. They literally have no wait time as they have amazing scheduling. Everyone is soooo nice, from front desk to Dr.Jones. Cleaning process was quick and easy. Prices are outstanding compared to other lower rated places. I came in for a cleaning session and walked out smiling bigger than ever. They treat children with absolute care, always making conversation. My siblings were happy with the experience here. Couldn't have asked for a better place to get your teeth checked out.

I found Dr. Jones from BCBS (we have FEP blue dental), and his wife is my orthodontist (Merrifield Orrhodontics- also recommend here!). The office is incredibly responsive (I emailed for an appointment), and my husband sees Dr. Jones too. The dental hygienists are all lovely and their office staff is friendly and accommodating. He and his team are incredibly kind and careful, and they work to keep you informed on everything. I recommend coming to Dr. Jones, especially if you have FEP Blue dental! It's a great one stop shop for a family!
