Ridgeview Pediatric Dentistry
If your child is experiencing a dental emergency (severe swelling, loss of a permanent tooth or severe pain) please contact our office at 303-650-0310 or info@ridgeviewkids.com. We appreciate your patience and support and we look forward to seeing your smiling faces again soon. In the meantime, please remain diligent with hand washing, refrain from touching your face, eyes and nose, and continue social distancing.

Be kind to one another, we will get through this together! We are kids' dentists in Westminster, Colorado, also happily servicing the surrounding areas of Thornton, Broomfield, Erie, Lafayette, Firestone, Frederick, Longmont and Brighton. Dr. Cara Mudd and Dr. Clay Ziegler - both Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry - are passionate about kids' healthcare.
Services
A native of Colorado, Dr. Cara Mudd received her bachelor's degree and D.D.S. from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. After three years as a general dentist in Colorado, she was Dental Director in a rural community health clinic that treated uninsured and low-income children in Washington State.
We also believe that kids respond best to an environment that caters to their unique needs. That's why we take the time to make kids feel welcome - from toys to play with and movies to watch, to the way we talk to them and explain our procedures.

We know that there is a lot at stake - our perceptions of dental care are molded when we're very young and can last a lifetime, so it's crucial that we make your child's experience as positive as possible, setting them up for a lifetime good dental care habits. We are partners in your child's dental health and we take that very seriously!
We never recommend putting a baby tooth back in as it could damage the developing permanent tooth. However, it is important to examine your child to be sure no fragments of tooth are embedded in the gums, lip or tongue, as well as determine the extent of trauma to other teeth in the area. This type of dental emergency requires immediate attention.
Pediatric dentists are the pediatricians of dentistry. We treat only infants, children and adolescents, including those with special health needs. This specialization requires an extra two years of training following dental school. The very young, pre-teens and teenagers all need different approaches in dealing with their behavior, guiding their dental growth and development, and helping them avoid future dental problems.

I took my 2 year old here to be seen for a lip tie. The team was so patient with her when she was nervous. I love it here. Everyone is nice and professional. I also appreciated the staff sanitizing surfaces while we were there. I cant wait to come back.

We’ve gone here for years and had mostly positive experiences. Dr. Mudd is knowledgeable, great to work with and super friendly. It’s a very busy office so scheduling can be difficult so we needed to see a different dentist in the same office recently. We saw Dr. Winter and it was quite a different experience. Her disapproval and judgment was immediately evident when my son had a cavity at his check up. Her demeanor and attitude toward “hating cavities” continued on the day of treatment. I have 3 kids from ages 5-15 years old who have had regular check ups and very few cavities and I’ve

The office manager is not helpful AT ALL! My daughter called to get a referral to get her wisdom teeth checked. The office manager basically refused to help us. My family had been going to their office for over 10 years.
I absolutely lost my patience and raised my voice after she told us she couldn’t help us. Rather than trying to help she wanted to recap the “discussion”.
If you want loyalty, go somewhere else. They are only loyal to the o’l mighty dollar.
