Between our director and teachers assistants we have many years of experience in childcare, preschool and teaching. We use a combination of professionally designed curriculum in conjunction with specifically designed programs by our director. We use the STEAM program and incorporate introduction to writing and literacy, math and science concepts.

Services
Apricot Tree Preschool is an in home preschool with a maximum of 12 students at one time. Teacher ratio no more than 1:6. We are licensed through California state, Sunnyvale Business Bureau and have fire clearance. Our preschool has a designated space with it's own entrance. We offer Pre-K, preschool, and Parent's Day Out classes (for ages 2 and older).
My name is Sarah Collins and I take my role as director, and lead teacher of Apricot Tree Preschool very seriously. I've spent years gaining experience, education, and planning to make the programs we offer wonderful, engaging and most importantly to help your children grow in knowledge and love.
My education includes an Associates Degree in paralegal studies, a Bachelors in Business and Marriage and Family relationships, including early childhood education.I also am a certificated TESOL instructor. I have successfully completed the CBEST and have years of experience in tutoring, childcare, teaching English to speakers of other languages and as a volunteer for a teenage youth group.

Pre-K classes are for children preparing to enter Kindergarten the following school year, or children turning 4 by December of the enrolling year. These classes are offered 3 days a week. Professional curriculum and incorporation of STEAM stations ensure a well rounded preparation for your student to head to Kindergarten with all the tools they need to be successful.
