After my stylist of several years, retired, I went on the hunt for a new stylist and came across Aalam. I read reviews and looked at pictures on their instagram account, which showed before/after pictures, I was impressed! Sherry did my color and her confidence in applying color was apparent. I was happy with my color and think she did a great job. After color, I headed to Mansour for my cut. He listened to what I wanted and was so kind. Wow, what a great experience!
First of all, the hair colorist and stylist who did my hair did an amazing job. they are the best at what they do. My husband and my mom both said it's the best my hair has looked in a long time (I agree!). Second, the owners are very nice people. They make you feel welcome and run a very nice business. Do not waste your time and money going to this salon, I’ve had the most horrible color experience of my life. Sherri has a terrible attitude, does not listed to the client and dyed my roots black instead of doing the lowlights I had booked the appointment for. As a result I look horrendous! Believe me when I say “stay away from this salon”!!

Book with one of their new trainees and drove 30 minutes to this location for the owner/manager tell her to tell me she was not able to finish my cut or my treatment because he didn’t think she was capable of finishing the job. I left w a hair cut and wet hair. Never returning to this location again.

Everyone at this salon is amazing and welcoming. The owner always makes it a point to say hello and make you feel welcome! LIYU is my GO-TO hairstylist here!! Every cut she gives me brings in so many compliments! She actually listens to you, discusses the hairstyle you are aiming for and then starts working her magic! I have been going to her for years now and won’t let anyone else touch my hair!!

I had an issue that came up and was upset about something that happened, but the manager/owner came up as I was discussing the problem with the receptionist, and before I could even finish my sentence about being upset, he immediately said "I'm so sorry, no problem, we will take care of it." And absolutely made things right. This is hands down wonderful customer service. Issues come up in any business, but how they are handled is the mark of a good business.

First, Zuzana is an AMAZING colorist!! AMAZING!! I loved to Texas and spent hours looking for a salon and a colorist I liked. I finally discovered Zuzana and she is truly amazing. She does an amazing job on my hair. She's friendly. Just such a great human. Loved having her as my colorist. She was incredibly helpful and informative.
The second time I had her do my hair, she was super busy and the receptionist ended up blow drying my hair. It was an awful experience. AWFUL. She did an awful job blow drying. It was a cluster...you know what. I

Wow! I LOVE this place!! The most professional colorists and stylists. And the location is super easy to get to! Sherry is a magician with color. I'm so so happy with my transformation!! I booked an appointment online/same day and was lucky enough to schedule a blow out. I wasn't specific (any stylist) but I got lucky and was scheduled with Crystal.
Let me say these salons which specialize in Blow Outs should do themselves a favor and visit this salon to see how it SHOULD be done! From the warmed towels, the shampoo bowls and spray faucets (yes I'm goin' there) the Keratase products used, this is the nicest salon I've experienced and it was no more pricey than those other locations.

I am intensely serious about my hair and I had grown it out over the past few years. However, I love my hair cropped short and I felt it was time to get back to me. I researched and researched in the Plano/Frisco area (as I am new to Texas) and AALAM the Salon kept coming up. I needed someone who was excellent at pixie and undercut styles and I was blessed to find Mansour the Master Stylist. I showed him what I wanted and that is exactly what he gave me. He is well worth the money and I will continue to go to him. What a treat!

I came in for a color correction, haven't been to a salon in over 2 years since I have been growing my hair out from an extremely damaged and uneven combination of a chemically burned pixie-bob to now a much more healthy and longer armpit length style. Unfortunately I made the mistake of dyeing my hair black and trying to correct it on my own, which left it bright red at the roots and still black everywhere else.
