Dr. Giannone has been practicing dentistry since 1985. A graduate of Tufts School of Dental Medicine, he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Biology at Bucknell University. Over the years, he continues to attend continuing education courses with particular focus on preventative, restorative, and interceptive orthodontic ideology in order to help serve his patients in practical ways.
In addition, and of particular importance in serving his patients with special periodontal needs, he is certified in the use of soft tissue lasers. This greatly reduces discomfort and healing time for surgical procedures and enhances non-surgical treatments. David Giannone does not know what he is doing when it comes to routine fillings and he has caused me serious jaw pain for the past several months or so. I went in for fillings one day and came back a few weeks later to have some other teeth filled, I complained to him that the teeth he filled before were in serious pain all the time so he decided to give my teeth another cleaning and see what was wrong. He shaved down several other teeth that were not even filled by him and altered my bite. I have to close my jaw twice as hard as I did before in order to completely close and it hurts so much, my

WOW what an amazing dentist... I was in extreme pain and I had to get a root canal in Riverhead, afterwards I came to him and he sat down with me and we talked face to face about dental options. The receptionists are amazing and very accomidating. Dr. Giannone told me all I needed was a filling to cap it off, performed it that day and was very gentle and even funny. Normally I hate the dentist but it was such a pleasant experience I want to make an appointment just to go back again.
