The history of our industry is vast, but the first influencer was an iconic stylist named Vidal Sassoon. He owned high end salons around the world and he believed the foundation of all hair style is achieved through a haircut. So that skill should be prioritized, and we agree. You can't blend extensions, compliment color, or keep hair healthy, without good cutting skills.
Color is one of our top salon services. Whether your desired look is funky or natural, one of our colorists will take the time to evaluate your hair in a consultation. This helps determine what technique and application is best. Slicing, stitching and freehand balayage are all examples of highlighting methods we use.
If I could rate a 10 star I would because I finally found a blonde color specialist that is the real deal! I love that salon owner Gemy makes education a priority and has built such an AMAZING team who actually work together to get what you want. It is so impressive to watch them! There's nothing better than going in a salon and seeing everyone on the same page from start from finish.

Emily gave me a curly cut and it was the most positive experience I’ve ever had at a salon. She was energetic the entire time and definitely knew what was she was doing. She brought my postpartum frizzy, unmanageable, lifeless curls back to life 😍 I would recommend her to any curly that needs a cut!! Cannot wait to go back and add some new color to my curls!

I left an incredibly unprofessional salon and came to Studio 39. I went from a Pinto to a Mercedes! The previous stylist wasn't as good as I thought she was...because I never met anybody as competent as Sierra! She was so kind and considerate. She is extremely competent at what she does....a true expert. I got the BEST HAIRCUT I ever had. I am so grateful I got kicked out of that rude salon and found a real place that is professional and makes me feel amazing!

I’ve been getting Brazilian waxes for a couple of years now, but I’ve never had the experience that Bridget offers at every visit. She’s an amazing esthetician and comes with much knowledge about skin and hair. She always make me feel comfortable and valued. Bridgette does a thorough job every time. Not to mention she is the fastest waxer I’ve ever been to- I’m never in the room longer than 20 minutes getting waxed. She answers all my questions with clinical based feedback.

Great service. Adhering to CDC guidelines! Had an appointment with Morgan not knowing what I was going to do! She took over and cut off all the dry, brittle hair and gave me a cut that made it possible for me to "embrace" my curly hair! I never thought I would be doing that since I spent every day blow drying and pulling out the curl. I absolutely love my hair and the cut! Morgan, you are a "saint"! Thanks- I'll see you soon!!

Brielee is the BOMB! I had gone somewhere else for extensions and they had done a horrible job, it took a couple of reschedules, due to life...but once I got in there and met Brielee, that was it...I was sold!...She is a real rockstar, she took them down and replaced them perfectly! I could not be happier with her, she is a true professional at what she does, and I'm not going anywhere else again! The shop itself is in a great location and I felt so welcome, the girls are all super friendly and helpful!

I've been coming to Studio 39 for almost a year now. My first visit to the salon was better than I expected. I was in tears when I showed up for my first appointment. I had severe breakage that looked like a mullet, my hair was orange, brown, and black. My fears were quickly calmed. Gemy treated me like family and after hours of her hard work, my hair looked great. Months later my hair is healthy, shiny and the best it's ever looked! The knowledge Gemy has is like no one else out there. She is extremely knowledgeable and amazing at what she does!

I am extremely disappointed in my experience at Studio 39. I went in with blonde hair that had roots and asked that Amy give me a full highlight. I have never had any issues with getting the blonde color that I wanted with highlights. I left with copper brassy highlights and a base bump that completely stripped out all of my natural color. I went back the next night for a color correction and spent an additional 4 hours at the salon only to leave with copper highlights and a definite line of color in my hair. No refund offered....Lighting my $160 on fire plus tip would have been a better way to

I am new to the area and have had THE WORST time finding a hair dresser. I stumbled upon Studio 39 and Tayven did my hair. She was amazing. The salon is clean and very cute, almost a warehouse style venue. She listened to what I wanted, my horror stories of other hair appointments and gave me a perfect highlight and trim. First time I've left a salon and didn't feel the need to run home and fix it. She also offered up a new technique id never known of to achieve the look I wanted. Highly recommend her and the salon.

The worst wax I've ever gotten. The receptionist and the wax specialist were really bice people, but frankly speaking i would never go back. Went there because my appointment at another place got cancelled. So, i needed full leg wax and brow wax. Rebecca was helping me. Brows were done nicely, cant complain. Full leg wax was done poorly, and i can eve now see hair that where left off. They are normal length, so it is not due to their shortness that they got missed. It is lack of experience. Plus, when i was almost done there the waxer goes "i have not done full body wax in a long time

A wonderfully laid back vibe with talented stylists. After looking around KC, I finally found a salon with the expertise in blonde balayage and the service to accompany it. I highly recommend this salon and my stylist Taylen - plus it's easy to get to with plenty of parking available. Make note though, only cash tips accepted! (They do have an ATM on site)

It's unique to find a salon with creative and talented stylists who are also down to earth and friendly but Studio 39 has them. The facility is very cool and makes you feel like you've gone to New York to get your hair done.
Alex Lutz cuts my hair and does a great job listening to what I want and then adding her own flair.
