Friendly and efficient staff and a beautifully kept complex. A quiet, but happy place with a nice pond. Friendly neighbors that wave to everyone. Close to everything - shopping, dining, medical offices, and access to US 41. Love having the garage and a front porch, and the renovated apartments are top notch. Love living here!

I am feeling very disappointed with the final processing of closing out my 92year old Mom's apartment. She had lived at Shady Oak Village for over 10 years; she kept her apartment in immaculate condition-despite moving in with old carpet and the walls never being repainted. The office manager, upon final inspection, was declaring items needing repaired which were issues upon my Moms arrival. I feel they were more worried about retaining money from the deposit instead of doing the right thing and having integrity. My other frustration was directed at the continual increase in rent year-over

I have lived at Shady Oak Village Apartments for the past year. It is for 55 and older and is a wonderful place to live. I lived in a one bedroom apartment with attached garage with washer and dryer hookup. My patio faced a beautiful pond and I enjoyed watching all the activity with ducks and geese and egrets. It was very peaceful and quiet… and clean. During my stay I had a hip replacement and they were very accommodating to help me with things I couldn’t do for myself. They installed hand rails by the commode so it would be easier for me and also a hand rail by the shower. Anything
