Dan and his staff was instrumental in getting a fair settlement after a long delayed process held up by an unresponsive and uncooperative insurance company. I thought I would receive nothing in compensation for my injuries but Mr. Flanzig proved otherwise.
While riding my bike a car suddenly took a turn in front of me. In order to avoid hitting the front of the car and then going up and over the windshiild I desperately jammed on the brakes. The front wheel locked up and I flipped over, landing with full force on my elbow. Fortunately, the car stopped just short of impact. My elbow had eight fractures, and I had other, lesser, injuries. I had to have emergency surgery to install a plate and pins. Three days in the hospital.

Dan was fantastic. I was hit by an inattentive driver pulling out of a parking spot - breaking my rib, tearing up my knee and sending me over the handlebars to land flat on my back in the middle of oncoming traffic. A couple of years ago, I was involved in an accident while biking to work. The driver of a vehicle parked on the side of the road didn't check his mirrors before opening his door, and so when he swung the door open, it struck me and knocked me into another vehicle on the road. I fractured my hand and eventually needed to have surgery.
At the time of the accident, I did what anyone in that situation should do: I gathered information, found witnesses, snapped some photos of the scene of the accident, got a police report

Last November, a car went through a red light and hit me, knocking me across the street in an intersection. I was so disoriented at the time and had no idea what to do. Thankfully, the police were already on the scene so they prepared a police report. I went to the hospital and found out that I had fractured my shoulderblade but was otherwise ok.
The next day, I had to figure out what I needed to do. Do I need to file a no fault claim? Do I need a lawyer? Do I need to do anything else? I was definitely nervous

About a year and a half ago I was involved in a "dooring" in New York City while riding my bicycle to work. The person opened their drivers side door as I was approaching the vehicle and I was thrown from my bicycle. Simply the best lawyer I ever worked with, Dan Flanzig is a true professional and all round nice guy.
I was also "doored" as I was riding my bike when a driver of a van opened his door while I was passing. I had no time to react and I crashed into the door. This resulted in a broken collar bone (clavicle). I was knocked out for about 5 minutes. When I came too, there was a crowd gathered. Someone told me they called an ambulance which took me to the hospital. I needed surgery to repair my broken bone.

At the beginning of the summer, I was knocked off my bicycle by a woman opening her car door. It was the afternoon on a Friday. I was riding down the street in broad daylight obeying all traffic rules. That's why it's called an accident. There is nothing you can do to prevent it, and it's sometimes messy sorting it out.

I had gotten into my first bicycle accident and wasn't sure where to turn for help and answers to my millions of questions and worries.
That same night I had the accident and came out from the hospital I sent an email thinking it was too late and that I wouldn't be able to talk with someone. Just as I thought that, I received a call from the lawyer and was able to get some piece of mind because he was able to answer all of my questions. I forwarded all the information that I had and they took care of the rest. I highly recommend anyone who has been in an accident

Seriously.
Having a bike accident really, really shakes you. Aside from the shock, injuries, etc. it's totally stressful and strenuous to even attempt to handle all the paperwork that comes flooding in (and the crazy language used on it). Mr. Flanzig and his office generously made the whole ordeal much easier to deal with and I am forever thankful.
