Sergio Gallarzo has been in the hair industry for over 15 years. Today with over a decade as a hair stylist, Sergio specializes in extensions, men & women's cuts, multi-dimensional color & highlights. He also excels at color correction and stylish make-overs with the help of the John Paul Mitchell Systems (JPMS).
Sergio strives to always be in the forefront of his field by making education his number one priority. As a Paul Mitchell National Educator, he furthers his artistic techniques and product konwledge to share with other stylists. David Dominguez has had a passion for doing hair since a young age. David has been pursuing his career in styling hair at Sergio's for the past 3 years.

Omg took my both daughters to get a all around new look he's almost done with my first daughter and I cannot believe how amazing her hair looks!!! Just like what she asked for, as for my other daughter I cannot wait!!! Izzy has won my total confidence and 💯 satisfaction. I will never go any where else but to Sergio's and ask for Izzy. This is a Erica, the stylist at Sergio’s salon. Since, I know 1 star ratings look extremely bad for the salon and myself I need to address the 1 star given to the salon from, Hilario Torres. Hilario is my ex clients, on and off again, lover’s extremely upset review/response to me not accepting her back as a client due to him constantly ripping her tapes out of her hair causing damage to her natural hair. All of my extension client take extremely good care of their hair, however this clients spouse refused to stop pulling my clients hair. No need to give details. I refused to take this client

My wife came here regularly. They are not professional as when they did my wife's tape in extensions all of them came off every single time. They are very unprofessional as they take time off when when they are doing customers hair to talk about their personal lives. They also are very rude as my wife asked where to get them done again or even there at the shop at worst and they told her no and didnt tell her where to go just that all her friends who cut hair do not do it anymore which is bs. I would suggest going somewhere else. Also they think they are better than everybody else putting down

Had a very unpleasant and unprofessional conversation with one of the hairstylist. I made my appointment in the beginning of March. My appointment was scheduled for 5/14/21. I was alerted that my appointment was cancelled today. 5/6/21. Reasoning was “she wasn’t taking any new clients” I scheduled my appointment 2 months ago and was required to have a debt card on file to keep appointment and she cancelled my appointment a week before it was scheduled. Very unprofessional.

I've been going to Sergio' s for over a year and I love it! I have extremely baby fine hair, it's almost impossible to style!! Samantha has been a heaven sent!! She knows exactly how to deal with my baby hair and make it look full and healthy. She is so funny and personable and makes great conversation! I refer everyone I know to her!!

First off Samantha was 20 minutes late, and walked in with a Starbucks coffee (not to professional) and she literally chopped my hair... one of the worst haircuts I have ever had! I went in with no layers and a point cut. I explained that because I have hashimoto's my hair grows extremely slow, and I asked her to shape it up, just a trim. I ended up with tons of layers and a face frame! Also I had a color treatment which was not a nice relaxing day at the salon! She left me with my head in the wash bowl for 20-30 minutes which was very uncomfortable and hurt my neck. If you like your basic cut

I just got Banged by Sergio!!! Love love love my fresh new cut!!! Sergio listens to exactly what you want and definitely delivers!
I was skeptical about bangs but Sergio was right, it's so fresh and such a simple cut made all the difference!
Love this place! It's bright and open and everyone is so friendly. The salon manager, Victor, was very attentive and making sure that all guests were happy with their services.

I have known Sergio for over 15 years I finally found a stylist who could work with my hair in a way that fits my needs. On occasion, when Sergio is not available I have seen other stylist without hesitation considering I am so picky with my hair.
This location has been opened less than 5 years. I can remember it being a big empty room & Sergio together with his staff renovated it to what it is now.
In addition, the staff is committed to a high standard with continuing their professional trainings as a Paul Mitchell hair studio.

I never dyed my hair before but Samantha made my experience so enjoyable I can't wait to see her again! I'm very picky and had lots of questions and she cleared up everything I was concerned about! I am so happy I took the leap and tried Sergio's Hair Studio. Sergio cut and styled my hair exactly how I asked him to. I can tell a novice from a pro and I can tell you he is a master stylist who knows his stuff. He can cut any style you want. My hair is fine, wavy, and has cowlicks. I told Sergio I'm trying to let my hair grow a little bit longer and he listened and didn't cut off too much. Sergio also was friendly and took the time to get acquainted with me, and I appreciate that! For the first time in years, I've scheduled my next appointment before walking out of

Mandy, has great photos on her work and I believe she could be talented . BUT I HAD AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE. I have never had such a sloppy hair color. First the salon is very dirty and old. While waiting for my color to set in Mandy asked if I wanted something to drink and I happily accepted coffee . She then pointed to the coffee machine and said I could make my own. I had trouble with the machine and she did not pause to quickly help me. TO TOP OFF THE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE THE COLOR WAS WORSE. Sergio's is an AWESOME hair studio. Sergio did color correction and when I walked out I felt as if i was beautiful! ( I was hoping that at the very least I would walk out with hair I would feel OK about due to the crap color and cuts I have received elsewhere.) .
Again, if you are interested in fantastic color see Sergio or one of the other hair artist as this studio!

I'm new to Albuquerque and had called several places/stylists who both had good reviews and indicated on their web sites that they were looking for new clients. Never got a call back.
I was referred to Mandy who got back to me quickly. I was hooked after my first visit. She listens to your needs and preferences, makes suggestions, does a great job with the color and highlights, and the razor cut gives my very fine hair some needed body.
Prices are reasonable and I enjoy the rest of the staff too. You can tell all of the stylists actually care

I'm new to Albuquerque and came here because I could book my appointment online. Everyone is really nice, the salon is clean, the music is really good, and most importantly-- no one rushed me! I hate feeling like I'm a nuisance, even when I'm a paying customer, and that doesn't happen here. A lot of attention was paid to my hair by Jacob, who was careful and attentive and seemed to actually care about what I wanted! Would definitely recommend!

I was lucky to find Sergio by complete chance when I moved to Albuquerque years ago! It has been such a pleasure to watch him grow his business and as an artist! This place is wonderful !! Super friendly staff ..Sergio truly an artist it's hard to gain trust with someone when it comes to your hair!! I can honesty say I trust and feel comfortable with Sergio I've had my hair gone from dark brown to blue pink blonde and my hair is still in good condition I 100% recommend you'd guys to check it out!!! I was referred to Sergio's by a coworker. I've been going to an upscale salon since I moved to Albuquerque and while I love the extra care like a hand massage and fruity water, the price of service is not worth the final results.
Lauren is phenomenal. I know what I want..in general...but I need a professional to hold my hand a bit. Tell me what my hair needs. She did just that. She corrected some poor patterning in my highlights and covered up my gray...which is always my main goal.

If your looking for a place that knows hair and hair color. Then look no further. I've been to Sergio's twice now,and have left very satisfied each time. I love the color bar and love that my hair color genius Alex has relocated here for part of the week. Alex is the best (in my opinion), but I have witness remarkable talent from the other stylist there as well. They accept walk-ins. They also sale a many different kinds of hair products. Give them a try if your looking for a new place to make you and your hair feel beautiful!
