I have the honor of DJ'ing Courtney and Jonathan Sanchez on November 5. The venue has a rustic but elegant feel to it with plants and greener all around, two separate areas for the ceremony, dinner and dancing! They also have their own custom furniture, sound system, kitchen, and natural Lightning!
I can wait to DJ here in 2022!

We got an large assortment of cheeses, bread, and even prosciutto, other sausages/cured meats. Pretty good overall, and the staff here are really nice and don't have snobby attitudes like you might find at other high-end places. I suppose that the overall regular patrons I saw here during the weekday were a lot older. I was again the youngest alumni to attend this meeting with an entirely different group from the SJ alumni meet I attended before this one. I'd really want to come back here when I have the experience/age and friends who'd appreciate an awesome wine tasting venue like this one.

This review is for their customer service. Katherine, our contact at Flora, was incredibly helpful and kind. When we let them know we could not move forward with booking Flora, Katherine emailed back offering support with her expertise in the industry even though we weren't booking with them.

You will find no flexibility in their management team, even for non alcoholic beverage mixers, they will upcharge you $3 - $5 per cocktail per guest (what a joke). They require a $1,000 deposit and unfortunately will find ways, like with us, to keep it for themselves as if the $13k isn't already greedy

This is the most BEAUTIFUL venue I have ever seen! I'm confused why any couple would choose a different venue if they are getting married in the San Diego area. Where do I begin?! The details from the entrance, to the bathroom, to the plants growing on the walls are so unique but timeless. Every time I visited this venue I fell more in love every time! Our daughter and new husband had their wedding/reception at Flora last week. The venue is spectacular: beautiful, unique and versatile. My husband and I had our wedding at Flora and they helped make it absolutely special. We had a small wedding and were flexible and accommodating with every request we had. Flora is also amazing for larger weddings. Katherine, the owner, and Elena, our coordinator, were excellent with the details on how to make our day so special. I have so many positive things to say not only about Flora, but also about the wonderful people who work there, that I just don't know where to start. Flora has exceeded our expectations from the very first day we met their team and toured the venue. The venue is absolutely beautiful - you immediately feel a sense of warmth and love from the moment you step foot inside. We were torn between having our wedding indoors or outdoors, however, we knew we wanted the space to feel intimate. Flora provided the perfect intimate indoor space while bringing in an outdoor aesthetic with its walls lined with gorgeous greenery (ps. I was amazed to find out that all the plants were real!). As a plant obsessed wedding photographer, this venue is one of my FAVORITES! Flora is an absolute hidden gem of a wedding & event venue in San Diego! Covered in plants, trees and skylights, this space gets amazing light and is totally dreamy from the start. The space has endless options and so many excellent opportunities for creativity. You can have you wedding ceremony and reception here, while also exploring the fun downtown neighborhood for killer wedding party and bride and groom photos. All of the staff here is super sweet and I'm looking forward to working at this magical spot again!

During an architectural event I volunteered for I saw amazing pieces being fabricated and found out it was for a new event space called Flora. I was very intrigued because I had just gotten engaged but since they were under construction we booked a different venue.

As soon as we walked into Flora we knew it was where we wanted to get married! We are so happy that we chose Flora as our wedding venue and decided to use their in-house wedding coordination team. We have been working with the team since late 2018 planning our November 2020 wedding. They did a wonderful job keeping us informed on the restrictions that would impact our wedding due to Covid-19. When we unfortunately had to postpone until 2021, the team at Flora stepped in and coordinated with ALL of our vendors to find a mutually available date. They also did not charge us ANY fee for postponing

The event space at Flora is as beautiful as the people who operate it are flexible and accommodating. My fiance and I had been set to get married at Flora in August of 2020 (just a few days ago, actually). I stumbled upon Flora online after looking at multiple venues and I immediately fell in love. We set up an appointment and Katherine gave us a tour and my heart was set. Due to the circumstances concerning COVID-19, we asked Flora if we could move the date further back, which they agreed to without hesitation. We could not be more grateful to have Flora as our wedding venue and our wedding planners! We originally planned a September 2020 wedding and were in the midst of booking other vendors in March when CA shut down. When Paul & I stepped into Flora, we knew it would be the most fitting venue for our intimate wedding. Not only is the space elegant & romantic with it's many living plants & stunning chandeliers, but the staff is kind & so welcoming. This is a dream come to life for the owner, and she makes sure ever couple gets exactly what they need on their special day. This place is filled with magic! Seriously the most gorgeous space in downtown San Diego, filled with LIVE plants and it was the perfect place to host our Confetti Conference! They provided the tables and chairs that went perfectly with the space as well as had the AV equipment! We would recommend them for any event.
