For the past 15 years, I've been one of only a few San Diego wedding DJs who provides trusted references, cheap rates while giving personalized and dependable mobile DJ service along with lots of great fun!
My DJ experience began while playing 80's dance, 90's hip hop and planning promotions as a fun Disc Jockey in venues in San Diego North County and East County. A few years later, I took that good experience and developed into a hard-working affordable mobile DJ, coordinating and planning receptions with brides and their wedding coordinator.

Services
This service is all included as part of my package of 6 hours for $995. No additional fees! I dress the part. Whether it's a Halloween party and I'm the hip dude from Nebraska, or it's a corporate event, high school reunion, anniversary, birthday party, quinceanera, bar-mitzvah, or your special wedding day.
I am always available live by phone or email when you need to reach me. Try me. 619-733-9414, or send me an email! In addition, try contacting each of your hired professional vendors a week before your special day to give you some peace of mind and verify you are all on the same page. In the extreme case I were to ever become ill or injured, I have several mobile DJs who are at a short notice call.

Paul has been the best DJ I've ever interacted not only at the event but leading up to the event. Very attentive, full of energy, and most important ready fo fill any needs or desires of music! DJ Paul Peterson was excellent!! We had him for our wedding this past August and he was such a great MC and DJ. Even prior to the wedding (which we actually had to postpone an entire year due to covid, but he totally understood and there we no issues with that), he was incredibly responsive and easy to talk to. He could honestly be a wedding consultant because he spent such a long time with us walking through our day of itinerary and even giving us cute photo tips. You could tell he has done a ton of weddings and knows exactly what to do. He even wanted to coordinate with all of our other vendors

Paul is such an awesome Dj! He made my day so much more stress free and run smoothly. I didn’t have to be worrying about the timeline as he took charge of it all. He took initiative of talking to all the vendors so everyone could be on the same page. He was recommended to me twice. I saw that as a sign. At first I was hesitant because I thought the language would be a barrier. My side of the family enjoys their variety of Mexican music. So I was concerned that aspect wouldn’t be covered. Where do I even start.. Paul was recommended to me from a friend who had Paul as their Dj for their wedding. They stated everyone had such a good time enjoyed the music and were up dancing all night. I was a little hesitant at first ONLY because on my side of the family we enjoy music in Spanish. As Paul isn't bilingual I saw that as a barrier. Then my wedding planner recommended him to me. So that was the second recommendation. So I saw that as a sign. It was such great pleasure working with Paul. Paul was the DJ for our wedding at 32 North Brewery on January 11th. We were recommended him by Bekkers catering after we booked them to be our caterer and it may be the best wedding choice we made! F I could do 100 stars I would. I officiated at a wedding where Paul was the DJ. He is the very first DJ to call me in advance to make sure we connected regarding microphone, sound. Very impressed. Then when I met him in person he was like an old friend. He wired me up with this amazing mic that clipped onto my binder which was amazing! He made sure we tested before the ceremony.
He was FUN and lighthearted. Weddings are supposed to be fun! He cued the music perfectly and everyone had a great time! He even took a great shot of me using his wireless mic!

DJ Paul made our wedding the best! It's an important role essentially being the host of the entire ceremony and reception and he nailed it! The sound quality at the ceremony was great, and easy to hear back in our video. He is very organized and knows what he's doing. He sent a google doc for us to fill out which helped organize our thoughts and figure out what songs we wanted when. I cant not believe there are not more reviews for this God send. From the initial email till even today Paul has been the most wonderful part of my whole wedding process. He made everything so easy fro me from a day of timeline for information to rolling with the punches that come along with the big day. I had so many requests and he was just so willing and happy to help! What a wonderful man, wonderful energy and just perfection. I have no complaints what-so-ever.

DJ Paul Peterson is the man! I attended a friends wedding a few days ago and it was phenomenal. Paul kept the crowd engaged and made it a good and fun time. The dance floor was crowded the entire time. All the songs Paul played were from a wide variety of genres but, nothing too crazy. He provides a mini light show for the dance floor that was cool when the lights were lowered for dancing. Overall, it seemed everyone at this wedding liked the energy and that's all do to Paul. When I plan to have a wedding, he will be my first pick for DJ-ing.

Paul was a fantastic DJ for our wedding in May! We specifically reach out to DJ Paul because he has DJ'ed at our location before (Ocean View Room at Ballast Point) and our venue had a lot of strict rules on set up and noise. Amazing!!!!! Got every penny's worth. You wont regret it. Great personality and super personable. We had a grand opening for our restaurant and hired Paul as the dj. He kept the crowd entertain and informed. I am hard to please but he exceeded my expectation. If there were 10 stars rating, I would definately give that to him. In short, DJ Paul is AMAZING!!!!!! I had 15+ people come up to me after the wedding to tell me that the DJ was awesome and made the night so fun. When he says High Energy DJ, he means it!!!!! Paul is an amazing DJ ! He did my ceremony and reception. He is so professional and organized (yay spread sheets) which was a dream come true for a bride planning her wedding without a coordinator. Turns out once your reception starts, Paul is the coordinator, I didn't have to think about anything. He let me pick my own music and made the environment so fun! Everyone from grandmas to little kids and everyone in between was on the dance floor- people are still telling me how amazing it was! He did extra things like sing happy birthday to one of my ring bearers. Your wedding memories are priceless
