Each week I am truly blessed to spend the day with two families as they are joined together as one and celebrate one of the most special days of their lives. The honor bestowed upon me to be entrusted to capture their story, and immortalize it through my lens, fuels my commitment to provide them with the highest quality images possible.
Your wedding day is one of the most special days in your life. In many cases a bride has thought about her wedding day and has been planning it since she was a little girl. From saying yes to the dress, to picking out the stationary and flowers, no detail is any less important than the next. Because every single detail of the day, no matter how small, has been carefully planned to create a magical setting that you will never forget.
People feel good in front of the camera only when you learn to help them feel comfortable being there! It is about infusing them with your passion and educating them about how much they will enjoy the process. Engagement portrait sessions are a great way for me and my clients to get to know each other prior to their wedding day.
Bryland Photography is also a Chicago portrait photographer. In fact, I have been providing portrait photography to my clients since 2011! That was 2 years before I even photographed my first wedding as the primary photographer! This gallery shows just a few of the many different types and styles of portrait photography sessions that I have had the privilege of photographing over the years.
You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved. When I photograph a wedding I am trying to capture the events as they unfold in order to tell the complete story of the day.

We decided to book Bryon for our May 2020 wedding based on how amazing he was at one of our friends weddings. Then of course covid happened and we had to push our date 3 different times, Bryon was understanding and worked with us in any way we needed.
Fast forward to the actual day Bryon was professional, fun, and a blast to have with us on our special day. Most importantly the photos he took were outstanding and we will have them with us forever. I would 10/10 recommend Bryon to anyone in need of a photographer for any occasion!! He is the BEST!!!
