Services
For so many times in the history of the United States Victorian Homes became Funeral Homes. And so was the Labs Funeral Home. It was built around the early 1900's during the Victorian era'.
As a home the building had some unique features such as a "smoke house' on the third floor to smoke meat, a "dumb waiter" that ran from the basement to the attic and a' wooden rain barrel" on the second floor for the collection of rain water used to supply water throughout the home.

We buried my 35 year old son yesterday. Labs funeral home was chosen by his father, my ex husband. David and Terry knew my husband and I were attending the graveside service. I
inquired about the tent provided for the family and suggested that we sit outside the tent to practice social distancing. We are both over 60, but no chairs were provided to us during the service, and we had to stand in 90 degrees temps. At no time were we approached by either owner to introduce themselves or offer their sympathies. They are friends and business associates of Cody's father, but that is not a license to

My husband and I had the bittersweet privilege of attending a recent service handled by The Lab family. The service was managed in the most safe and professional manner on a day when the weather was nothing less than oppressive. Our most sincere appreciation to this professional and caring family business for providing such a precious memorial for our beloved.

Labs Funeral Home in Honeybrook did an excellent job with the complete arrangements of our father's funeral. We were extremely happy with the service. Everything was done in order. Mr. Eames was professional and caring. The attention to detail was a true blessing. He made our lives less stressful during this difficult time.
