I just had the best experience with Kate! I'd gone far too long without a cut, and Kate made some excellent recommendations to help me find a look that I'd be happy with. She even suggested I try parting my hair on the other side, and so far, so great! The wash & shampoo was A+. I felt like I was getting a massage. I look forward to visiting again!

I have had so many bad experiences in L.A in Boujee overpriced salons. Eddie is my hair god fairy ! So good at what he does and he also listens to what you want . He really took his time and paid attention to detail . AND it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg so I can actually afford to have short hair ….I finally found my stylist in LA.

I had my appointment today at 3:15 for a haircut, just a trim. Unfortunately I’m not happy with the results.
I asked for an inch off and feather looking layers due I use hair extensions and I need to blend with my hair.
I endup with rect harsh layers and looks choppy. Also the pricing was 45 and suddenly is 50. My hair length is above my shoulder. Won’t coming back, won’t recommend.

I love Westside Hair Studio. I have a long history of hair drama, and I finally found a stylist (Denise) who really takes care of my hair. I get it relaxed and cut -- nothing fancy. It's obvious she's skilled though, and my hair is longer than it has ever been before, something I'd written off as not possible. Plus the atmosphere is hip and cool.

I'm reading the reviews of this salon and I'm actually a little bit surprised. My experience was the complete opposite. Eddie and Selene listened to exactly what i wanted and the price was incredibly reasonable. This area alone charges $70 for just a cut and doesn't include shampoo/conditioning and styling. Westside Hair Studio charged me $60 for shampoo, conditioner, cut and styling. They even had a coloring book and crayons for my toddler who i had to bring with me. Thanks Eddie and Selene!!

I thought to give this place a shot since I stayed at the hotel few blocks away and I made a mistake .
First of all they won't follow instructions and you are probably limited to only a few different hairstyles .
So whatever you request your hairstylist will try to make it as close as possible to one of those 10-12 generic styles she knows. Very quick cut without attention to details ... Even if it's a wrong haircut , hair should at least be even everywhere .
And yeah, the lady was pretty aggressive with the wash , I felt like a potato , being washed , for a moment .

Eddie is a talented hair stylist! I've been going to him for haircuts and highlights for two years and wouldn't trust my hair with anyone else! Blow outs are amazing because I have thick wavy/curly medium long hair, and Eddie does and excellent job at making my hair silky smooth every time. Eddie is an expert and I assure you that your hair will be in great hands- no matter what state your hair is currently in. I highly recommend having your hair done and maintained by Eddie!

I had a great experience at this hair salon. The environment was very clean and the staff was nice. I called up last minute for a blow dry and the woman "Kate" took me right away. She was very precise with her work taking her time on each piece of hair even when others were waiting. She was great and my hair looked stunning for the event I had that evening.

Hands down the worst haircut I have ever had.
My hair was about shoulder length with VERY subtle layers, and bangs.
I told the woman that all I wanted was a trim, bringing my hair length to just below my collar. I asked to clean up the layers slightly, nothing crazy. I said I liked my bangs the way they were (and mentioned that I liked how they were already blended with the rest of my hair on the sides).
She went all "Edward Scissorhands" on me, snipping away - I couldn't really see what she was doing.
She. Gave. Me. A. Mullet.

The worst haircut I have ever got was here. It's actually unbelievable how many good reviews this place has because it has horrible service and the female hairdressers have no professional training. I never feel the need to give a bad review to any businesses and I'm a pretty chill guy, so it's really hard to piss me off. But the service there is not even mediocre, it's horrendous.

I recently visited Patrick Evan salon for a Brazilian Blowout. I heard about them through Group on, and was really glad to have found such a great deal since this treatment can be expensive.Cashmere worked on my hair and did a fantastic job. I have very frizzy curly hair that can be a hairstylists nightmare, so I was pleasantly surprised at how well she "tamed the beast". My hair is now silky smooth, shiny, and wavy and all without blow dryer or flat iron hassle! I also want to mention how cute and trendy the salon is and that they have a great Union Square location.

Eddie Martinez is the best stylist for me and my family. We have been seeing him for more than three years now. He is truly an artist who loves his job. Also i realized they cut only old people who doesn't care about thier hair
I don't think this "westside studio" should be in this area it all.
They should move somewhere out off there
