Finally got around to having our heat/ac checked. I had called around/checked out supposed deals from other places, but ultimately decided Airmax wasn't going to be any more expensive than anyone else and a friend had suggested them, so I call them. Airmax is efficient and friendly and just what we needed. The service tech was very knowledgeable and even wore shoe protectors before coming into the house...and he passed our dog's scrutiny too! Recently our 3rd floor heat pump gave up after 15 years. Knowing that I have a limited lifespan on exact same heat pump on the 2nd floor I decided to get quotes to replace both rather than get stuck in the dead of summer with no A/C on the sleeping area floor. I checked consumer reports which gave American Standard the best repair rating out of all major heat pump brands. So I requested quotes from two AM Standard dealers and AirMax came in significantly less. I am always leery of taking the lowest bid but I couldn't find negative reviews online so we went with AirMax and American Standard
