Dr. Abernathy has helped me when no one else could. I was at the end of a long line of doctors and tests with no answers and got in touch with her for an appointment in 2014. She got me back on my feet. And I continue to get appointments with her as needed. She is a health detective and can figure out underlying issues that other places will not suspect.

Dr. Abernathy offered to pay me off to remove my honest review. She took time in the initial meeting and appeared very knowledgeable; however, she is defensive when one does not fully agree with her. In addition, she makes excuses & can have a superior attitude. I would not recommend her to others. I was informed she is known to be abrasive, which I can handle, but downright rude & not putting your all into your profession

Dr. Abernathy is an amazing doctor. A friend recommended her and we scheduled a consultation for my husband after the medical profession gave up and sent us home with instructions on what to do when he had a stroke - not if - but when. He had extensive radiation and chemo several years prior for throat cancer and had a completely blocked left carotid artery and only 20% flow in the right , as well as extremely high blood pressure, diabetes and thyroid problems. Now a year later, he is off of all prescription medication, his blood pressure and glucose are stable and he is in much better health.

I began seeing Dr. Abernathy because I was experiencing a sour and metallic taste in my mouth. After seeing my regular doctor and various specialists, I was told that in time this taste would go away but no one could give me a diagnosis. I scheduled an appointment Dr. Abernathy. Dr. Abernathy is an excellent doctor. She is absolutely committed to getting to the root of my health problems. All my other doctors just wanted to give me drugs for the symptoms but Dr. Abernathy digs deep until she finds the cause and then starts treating the cause, as opposed to the symptoms. Dr. Abernathy fixed so many things with my health. I was puttering along with no energy, could hardly get out of bed in the morning, fuzzy brain all the time, and getting continual sinus infections--for which two operations did not help.
