The Imtasik team is dedicated to helping you through all of life's unexpected challenges. Each member of our team has their own unique approach and areas of expertise, but all have the common goal of helping you through any and all of the problems you may face. I work with people who are struggling with life stresses and/or biochemical mental health challenges, like addictions, and have a desire to feel more content and capable.
We provide individual, couples, family, and group counseling. Imtasik believes that counseling is to the soul as exercise is to the body. Life will most certainly involve twists and turns, and whether proactively approaching challenges or aggressively treating them, we put clients at ease and provide direction to empower them to withstand any of life's transitions.

I'm honestly so sad I have to give 3 stars but unfortunately we had a different experience. We booked our first session in November because of all the positive Yelp reviews. Once the day came to see our counselor we got a call asking if we could come into our appointment earlier. Unfortunately, we couldn't because we both get off work late. No worries they still allowed us to come in at our scheduled time (6pm). We loved our session the counselor was AMAZING!! So we booked again for December 22nd 6pm. We received a confirmation text and confirming we would be there at our appointment

We all have issues and understanding them can be very difficult to understand on our own. The Doc has really been a game changer in my life to help me find balance between 5 kids and 4 business. I really can't say enough about how much she is helping me out, I would definitely recommend him to anybody.

Dr. Ira is not only one of the best therapists Iv been to, but also the most kind people I have met. He really helped me get through one of the toughest times of my life. I cannot express in words my gratitude to Dr. Lake. I can honestly say he saved my life. At my first appointment when the door to his office opened there he was with the biggest welcoming smile on his face putting all my anxieties at rest and I felt an instant connection like never before. I have see many psychologists throughout my life but none can come close to the amount of help this incredible man has given me over the past few months. Bring a notebook with you to all your appointments. He literally helps you write your own self help book. His instructions are simple to follow and will change

Dr. Ira is the best psychologist I have ever had! He is very engaging and interactive. He listens and encourages positive behavioral changes for me. He impacted me in my first session with him and I feel I have already changed my way of thinking because of him. I would like to thank Dr. Ira for how he has helped my adult daughter. She has BP1 and was in a deep depressive episode in January. After just a couple sessions with Dr. Ira, I could see a change in my daughter. She is continuing with sessions and has continued to improve. I HIGHLY recommend this therapist.

Dr Lake has got to be the kindest most productive Therapist I’ve ever experienced, someone who gives you his all when he sees you.
Relatability is always on point and quick to stop arguments so you don’t take all your time unproductively.
I HIGHLY recommend Dr Lake, his perspective on relationships is so healing but to the point .

Dr. Lake is a great counselor. He is helping me get to some of my root issues not only that I have been trying to convince my teenage son to go for a while and my teen finally decided to go and my son loves this man. After one visit when asked when my son wanted to return he immediately replied schedule me for next week. Dr. Lake has amazing gift.

If anyone is considering a counselor I want you to read this... My husband and I were having some serious problems, thank god we stumbled across Dr. Lake and I really truly believe he has saved our marriage. At the beginning we went three times a week because we were so excited about the progress and tools he gave us. Eventually we were able to get along peacefully so we went twice a week then down to once a week... now we see him about once a month when our relationship gets a little bit off track and we leave there feeling so much better. We have also brought our kids with us and they love him

Dr.Lake is the first therapist to actually help me learn what it takes to let go. I used to cry on the phone asking my best friend "but how?? how can I let it go? how do you just get over it?? why is it so easy for others to move on? Dr lake has literally taught me the skills to train my brain to think of something different in order to get past… whatever is bugging me so it doesn't consume me. Let me start out by saying I was referred by my hairstylist to Dr. Lake. From the time I walked in, Dr. Lake and his staff made me feel right at home! He was grooving to some instrumental jazz music and soon after I was bopping along. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect in my first therapy session and I will say our conversation flowed which made it effective for me to share. It just felt like casual conversation.

Dr Lake has been a huge blessing to my daughter who's (12). He's been the first out of many therapists to become apart of her life. He's developed a trusting relationship fast. My wife and I have been going to Dr Lake since before we got married. He recently started up marriage boot camps, which is where I am writing this review from. Imtasik family counseling has provided us with counseling for us and for our son. I want to encourage people to try a session or even checking out one of these boot camps. I've personally learned a lot and learned some of the mistakes that I - we - have been making. Marriage is not easy, but it's the relationship that holds the promise of being the most rewarding. Dr Ira is so professional and the way he established a connection with my daughter, I'm just at loss of words. I can't wait to see her progress and growth. Dr. Lake is incredible. We saw him for premarital counseling and we were so honored that he could also be our officiant! So many of our guests commented on how great he was and asked for his info. As for the counseling we learned so much from him that we will apply for the rest of our lives. Thank you Dr. Lake!

Dr. Ira Lake is an incredible individual and professional who truly has made a tremendous difference in my life. If you have ever considered or have gone to counseling in the past....I can guarantee that nobody will come close to what this man can do. Dr. Lake is extremely personable and you can feel that he truly cares about what is happening in… your life. Tonight I was looking at our wedding video, and I can't thank Pastor Lake enough for the wonderful job he did in officiating our wedding.
He really took the time to learn our story and wove that into a ceremony that our friends and family raved about. Spirituality, substance, and laughs were all perfectly proportioned!
