Simple Twist has been our go to caterer for many events. The food is fantastic and the customer service is exceptional. Everything is mouthwatering, especially the Twisted Guacamole and Shrimp-n-Grits. Colleen and her staff are beyond pleasant to deal with, reliable and always do a lovely job with set up, leaving a great impression on our employees and guests.

We chose takeout. The shrimp and grits are not nearly as good as Plates Kitchen but they don't mind if you have Covid so that's a plus, hence the 1 star. If they are out of something, they will sub the item you chose with their choice and simply not bother to ask or allow you to choose a different dish. They will make you another meal or if you come all the way back with the bad food, they will give you a refund.

The Cohiba Havana sandwich was the best Cuban sandwich we’ve had since Ybor City in Tampa 50 years ago, and my wife and I have had many since then. Although not press grilled, the flavor was magnificent. Just wonderful. The Billy Guacamole also exceeded expectations. Drinks are reasonable and the ambiance relaxing. A must do on your list in Smithfield NC.

The food is always good at Simple Twist. They have had issues with some items not being available recently, but that seems to be common right now. They offer plenty of substitutes.
The sweet pots are my favorite app. They are also willing to sub out whatever (like add onions and leave off the peppers). It has become a staple place to eat. I switch up between salads with salmon, veggie wrap and rice bowl. My husband always gets a burger.

Wow!! Literally the best place I have eaten in Smithfield. Live 45 minutes away, and will be coming back regularly!!! Our server(Kelsey) was extraordinarily personable and it was her first day!!!! Tried several different things, and everything was amazing!!!! Faith was great at bar recommendations as well!!

We ate here on Sunday 11/28/2021 four days later and I'm still furious about the service we received. We waited while a party of four and then a party of six that came in after us were served before we were. Even when the waitress who came by tell us that "it'll just be another minute" it ended up being a full 35 minutes before our food came to the table. I will say though that the appetizer came fairly quickly. I've eaten here on several occasions and I've had the rasta pasta before. What I was served was basically melted cheese, few stringy pieces of chicken and two small pieces of mushrooms
