In response to the growing uninsured population in the East Tampa community, Mount Calvary SDA Church established the Calvary Community Clinic -- a free clinic to address one of the most critical needs of the community which it serves. Within the 33604, 33610 and 33612 zip codes, 40% of the population has no health insurance coverage and 25% live below the poverty level.

A variety of education, counseling and community services are also offered.
The Calvary Community Clinic needs your support. Our ability to provide free services depends on the generous donations and support from the community. All donations are tax deductible and help to support the operations of the clinic. George Bush used the phrase "A Thousand Points of Light" to inspire individual contributions to society.

I've been to several 'professional' doctor's offices. Every time just after a week, I felt like the doctor didn't believe me, disregarded my concerns and refused to answer questions, or just straight up didn't know what they were doing. I made my first appointment with skepticism, as I had heard terrible stories of 'Free Clinics'. But when i left, I was never going back. Not ONLY was the staff understanding, friendly, and even made sure i was both physically and emotionally comfortable, they actually listened and asked me questions like there supposed to! Thanks to Calvary, I'll finally get the

Friendliest staff you can ever meet. They have helped me with everything from dental to eyes. I read one negative review and I have something to say about that. The people at Calvary are donating their time, they could be with their loved ones but they chose to help us instead. Waiting is nothing after you see your bill that you dont get. I also did some research on the lady that left 1 star. If you check her out she complains and gives 1 star to almost everyone she has reviewed. She gave a bad review because she had to wait at a doctor's appointment. Lol

I am extremely impressed with the entire staff, doctors, and interns. My needs were beyond met. These fine people went above and beyond my expectations. Not only was my initial concern addressed, but they addressed my every concern. God bless Calvary Community Clinic and all who work through their doors ten fold.

I am giving this rating because I got here 20 minutes before my appointment time to maybe fill out paperwork or whatever. Well it is now after my actual appointment time and I am still sitting here. They are EXTREMELY SLOW and very disorganized. I will definitely be searching for another place to go. Just Ridiculous.
