I am so thankful that I had Emee at EJP Events as my wedding planner, I truly could not have done it without her! I asked her about a million questions along the way and she was so kind and patient with me every step of the way. The last few weeks before my wedding could have been so stressful, but I knew Emee had it all under control. Emee and her team were amazing. If I can give them more stars I would. They did everything they could to ensure we had our dream wedding. She was calm, professional and flexible with all of our requests. The day of the wedding, it felt like she was multiple places at once, and was thinking alongside or ahead of us to make sure that we did not need to worry about anything. The team did everything to make our conference a success, going above and beyond to make sure the conference ran smoothly and that everyone attending had what they needed, and they were there to answer all questions and provide services to all who needed them. Emee and her team are amazing! They are professional, responsive, creative, and wedding life savers! The first thing on the wedding list was to find a coordinator and Emee was the first choice out of 4 interviews and countless reviews of other coordinators. I'm a wedding photographer and I had the honor of working along side Emee & Katherine at the beginning of the month. They were such a blast to work with. I normally have such bad experiences working with wedding coordinators. Emee and Katherine were very professional and helped keep the wedding together. Ten stars for Emee and Katherine. My wedding was chaotic and stressful BUT I didn't have to deal with any of it because Emee had it covered...my maid of honor didn't show up so Emee rearranged the main table and had my new maid of honor walk down the isle with two escorts. Genius! I got horrible anxiety and wanted a flat iron right before my wedding .... Why? No idea I think it was pre wedding jitters! Demanding a flat iron was my bridezilla moment and I'm not proud of it. Emee had a flat iron AND curling iron both ready to go waiting for me. I nearly cried it was the best feeling

Emee and her team were incredible, silent assassins at their finest. I opted for the "day of" service since I really just needed help at the end, paying vendors, set up and the overall orchestration of the day. Emee was able to wrangle our family using stern, but likeable demeanor. I can't imagine how stressful the day would have been without their help. My husband and I were married at The Hotel DeLuxe on 9/5/15. We returned home from our 1-year anniversary trip to find a card from EJP, congratulating us on our first year of marriage. EJP did an excellent job pulling together all of the final details for a large birthday party I threw. I did not expect to need as much help as I ended up needing, but EJP took it all in stride with grace and quality service when I threw most of the last minute details their way. Emee and Katherine at EJP Events were one of my favorite parts of the wedding planning and execution process. When I settled on Portland as the site for the wedding, I found and interviewed three planners. Emee was the last I met with and I left sure that she was the one. Based on all the other positive reviews, I wonder if something outside of work was impacting her ability to do her job effectively during the time she worked with us. Or perhaps she is very good at coordinating, but not at long term planning. We contacted her 11 months before our wedding. Emee started out strongly enough, but by the time it was ~3 months before the wedding, she was disengaged, frequently late, and was not proactive. She's a very nice, likable person, but we found ourselves having to bypass her because she was not

I thought that I could plan everything myself. I thought that a wedding planner would be too expensive for us. I thought wrong! Emee was such a pleasure to work with. Her rates are more than fair (and better than her competitors!). Emee listened to everything that I said and was able to help us find a venue that was exactly what we were looking for. I am a project manager who is detail oriented and all to familiar with how to coordinate events, so I wanted to plan most of the wedding myself. However, I did not want ANY responsibilities the day of my wedding...I just wanted to have a good time. So, I hired Emee for "day of" coordination services, which means she starts planning with you 2 months ahead of the wedding and then swoops in to pull it all together on the actual wedding day.
