We moved from Arizona and started DJing here in Portland, Oregon in May of 2015. By the end of the year, we had DJ'd over 50 weddings and events throughout Oregon, Arizona, and Washington. We are currently the top rated DJ on WeddingWire, TheKnot, and Junebug Weddings as we finish the year in 2018.

We receive all the same music that is sent to the radio stations with edited lyrics. Further, we practice discretion while still playing "most" of what the students want to hear! Craig and Derek are both bilingual so our music library includes all the greatest latin hits as well.

What is included in the cost of my event? Our flat rates starting at $1000 gets you four hours of performance time and includes ALL equipment (including up to 4x 15" Electro-Voice Speakers, 2x ETX18SP Subwoofers, Shure wireless microphones, dance floor LEDs and lasers that intelligently "chase" the music, 8-12 uplights, custom monogram, and projector with screen).

We cannot day enough amazing things about DJ Craig and Silicon Forest Entertainment. Craig did a phenomenal job not only putting out an AMAZING playlist for the entire night but also was an incredible MC and made sure the night ran without a hitch! Craig was the best DJ we could have asked for. From the first meeting he was very pleasant to work with and very thorough in asking for all of the details he would need from us. We communicated mainly through email and he was quick to respond to all of our questions. On the day-of, we did not even need to talk to him. He knew what the schedule was, where to set up, and did everything perfectly without any guidance from us. He was super prepared and everything went so smoothly. Thank you, Craig.

Many DJs can play your music at your ceremony and reception. Not every DJ can respond to the crowd and update music selection well, and even fewer can command a room as an MC without dominating the atmosphere and absorbing all of the attention in the room. Craig was a great MC who kept the evening's schedule moving, while also being flexible to a fluid timeline. He did a great job of announcing toasts, getting microphones to people, gathering people's attention for special dances, cake cutting, etc. He was professional and warm but didn't steal the spotlight. He was wonderful!

In short, Craig at Silicon Forest Entertainment is awesome! He was recommended to us by our wedding planner. We knew he was the right guy for our wedding DJ and MC needs immediately when we met him. He’s friendly, professional, and he played the hits all night. He set up and ran our ceremony without a hitch. He also was a great MC through dinner, toasts, cake cutting, etc. And then he kept the dance floor full the ENTIRE night. DJ Craig mixed on site and read the crowd perfectly. 10 out of 10, would rehire again. Thank you Craig!

Seriously, as soon as you come across this company, don't think twice to look elsewhere or book with someone other than this guy. Craig did an OUTSTANDING job for our wedding. His communication was great in the year leading up to it and he was so thorough to make sure everything went perfectly. He even went out of his way and did a few extra things for me that were never asked of or expected. My only regret is not getting a picture with him!
