Shannon has photographed all four of my kids as newborns, which is something that is so special to me! She has also done several family sessions for us, and although we may not see her often, she feels like a part of the family each time. She is great with kids, and always captures their little (or big!) personalities perfectly.

At the age of eleven years old, I received my first camera and have enjoyed being behind the lens ever since. I am a natural light, self-taught photographer and became serious about photography in 2003 after a trip to Kenya, East Africa. I truly enjoy working with children and families and my success is due to photographing families as they grow from one year to the next.
Unfortunately, I do not photograph engagement photos or weddings. My speciality is children and family. If you're looking for a photographer for your engagement or wedding photos, I highly encourage you to look for someone that specializes in those areas. Each session varies and if children are involved, it depends on their cooperation.
