If this is your first visit with us, it won't take long to see that we do things a little differently at our office. First and foremost, we get to know you - not just your medical history, but your past dental experiences, your reasons for coming to see us and your goals for your smile. It might seem out of the ordinary to be scheduled for a 60-minute new patient visit with Dr. Cole, but this time has been reserved especially for you.

Can I give this dentist 10 stars instead of 5? :)
My husband and I are catching up on all of the standard yearly appointments we missed in the chaos of 2020, and we've visited quite a number of medical providers here in North Alabama after relocating from Colorado. Out of all of the appointments, I've only found 2 local providers who offered a standard of care that matched what we experienced with our former providers in the Denver area, and this fantastic dentist is one of them!
Dr. Cole must be incredibly busy, as he is the most in-demand dentist I've heard about from my neighbors and online

Let me just say , I LOVE this place!! Everyone is so friendly and actually care ! It's not just a paycheck to these individuals who work at cole family dental. I have really bad anxiety and honesty Very self conscious about my teeth because when I was growing up I didn't take care of them as I should have and so I have had to had a lot of work done throughout my adulthood and one time even asked to hold the dental asst hand because my anxiety is that bad. I can't even explain how comfortable this place makes me, and they also have payment plans, just be honest with them at the get go and don't

Excellent dental practice... one of the best I have experienced. I broke an old crown on a tooth and was heading out for an Alaskan cruise later that week. They got me in the day before we departed and were able to actually put in a new crown that afternoon during the visit. They utilize technology to improve their service and they are equipped to make their own crowns in house. In my case, recognizing my circumstances, they stayed a little late and got my new crown on for the cruise. Service above and beyond my expectations. Good on ya Doc and staff!

I went to an appointment this morning at Cole Family Dental. I have a slight case of dental anxiety, so my nerves were high. BUT I am so very pleased to say that Dr Cole and his staff were absolutely amazing. The hygienist, Crystal ( hope I spelled your name correctly) was so sweet and was sure to take her time and explain everything to me. She made sure I was at ease the whole visit. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone who may be looking!

I called Cole Family Dentist about a month ago. I told them that my husband just went to another dentist in Decatur and needed a root canal. I gave them the tooth number and they gave me prices for the root canal and crown. We go in today and they tell us they can't do his root canal and gave him a prescription for an antibiotic. So we wasted $73 on a visit to receive information we already knew and $10 gas to travel there. If he wanted an antibiotic he would have just went back to the previous dentist!!! They knew the tooth number so it wasn't like they didn't know it was a molar

I’m sure the dentist does great work, but I wouldn’t know, the receptionist I spoke with seemed so taken aback when I asked if they accepted walk-ins and told me no they didn’t with a kind of “isn’t that obvious?” attitude. When I called back later to check availability for a cleaning once again the receptionist was short with me. Don’t know if it was the same person or not, and maybe she was just having a bad day, but either way I will find somewhere else to go.
