Had a great experience working with James in renting out our townhome. The process was smooth and quick. We rest easy knowing we have good renters and someone looking after our property as we are no longer local to the area. Same feedback with the other tenants. Moving-in is probably the only time they actively replied my messages. I had to call the office everyday for a week for them to confirm our move-out. Then, we were unfairly charged a whooping move-out fee for the paint despite we stayed in the apartment for over 4 years. Then the agent, Jeannie, without following up with our dispute, sent our bill straight to a collection company who harrasses us everyday.

We consulted an attorney and decided to sue Legacy Property Management. What's more frustrating is they are now "working remotely indefinitely

Not impressed. We've dealt with property management companies and leasing agents for several years and this is one of the poorest in terms of service. We were charged a $50 application fee and then never heard a word about our application or the rental we were interested in. Obviously they selected someone else but they never told us they received or reviewed our application or that the house had been leased to someone else. We applied to houses with other agencies and not only did they let us know if another applicant was selected but also refunded our application. Beware, it looks like

I was a tenant with Legacy Property Group for about a year. I'd like like split my experience into 3 different stages and explain why my review gives this company a 4 star

Stage 1 2019 - Move-In and Lease Signing

My property manager for both lease signing and showing the unit initially was Eve. Although I received prompt responses via text before signing the lease, I had a hard time with Eve responding back after security deposit check was given. I would not get any responses via text/phone for over 24 hours. Eve was out on a vacation and Jeannie took over handing off the keys for her.

Update: The owner Derrick reached out after reading my last review to apologize for our move-out experience from the last property. Our current manager is quite responsive and issues get resolved quickly. Hence updating my review.

We have been following up with our rental agent, Eve for almost over one month now and they have not been prompt at all on closing out issues. We have all evidence (paperwork) of our move-in sheet with details of the state of the house when we moved in. However, we have been very unfairly charged move out expenses.

This has been an extremely frustrating experience. Please please please do yourself a favor and stay away from LPM!

The agents in this group are rude and irresponsible. They don't show up in the appointment, not apologize and hang up calls on you. It is horrible to deal with these persons with no business ethics

I used their services for finding a tenant for our rental home in 2016 (yes its a delayed review). Experience was less than great. Did not price well. Once we realized we were not getting any tenants, I had to step in and reduce rent. I also had to show the house to some of the prospective tenants.

The tenants who finally signed on came independently. At the end we realized we did not need Legacy Property Group. We could have done it ourselves and not pay the fees.

I had a very bad experience with them. Starting from bad tenant selection to not responding to complains or calls (this is for Derrick, guy has no sense of customer orientation), not taking responsibility of anything but still being paid. Also they are not the cheapest.

Despite generally great reviews, I personally have had an extremely frustrating experience with an agent (Quincy). I'm looking to relocate from out of state for a new job in the bay area, and my wife and I decided to rent for the first year before deciding on a location to buy. I'm a current home owner in my home state. I had intially made a call and an email regarding a rental house that we really liked, and had inquired about the property. I received a few messages regarding an open house showing which I could not make due to being out of state currently, and have not received any confirmation

I have been working with Derrick and Quincy for a year now, and find them professional regarding the rental of my condo. They suggested some surface work be done and I complied and the unit was rented quickly. I had worked with another firm in Mountain View, and they were not proactive in searching out a tenant for me. Once the tenant moved in, there were a few additional items that needed repair and Jeannie was very proficient and diligent about getting them completed quickly and in a cost effective manner. I continue to use them because they provide great service all around. Happy Holiday

I found an apartment that I want to rent from them. There were many people came to check out the place and were all told to apply for background check. I applied to run background check and after passing it they just replied "the owner has decided to go with another applicant". They charged each person who interested in the property for $50 to run background check and after passing we were not allowed to rent the place. This is a clear scam model. I didn't research well and fell right into it since the monthly rent price was so compelling.

*update I received a call from the owner yesterday that was so understanding and very kind. He returned my application fee and was just very sincere.


*This review is coming from a interested renter all other property management services is not related to this review.*

So I applied for a home through this company and was contacted the same day, which was great.

The agent message me and it started off okay and then took a turn for the worse. I contacted the office the next day because this was just really unacceptable.

The lady that called me back was very apologetic and I told her it was

I've had a great experience with Legacy Property Group.

Handyman Service: I had a lock that malfunctioned in my home, and when I reached out to see if they could help, someone was at my home within 30 minutes. He was very friendly, polite and respectful. I appreciate that he saw the shoes outside my door and immediately asked if he should remove his shoes. At one point we thought he wasn't going to be able to solve the problem on this visit, but he didn't want to walk away without helping, so he found another way to get me into the room. I will definitely reach out to them again

The onboarding process with Legacy was quite smooth and they took care of things quite promptly. The tenants they have found seem to be decent and haven't much problem. Rent seems to be paid on time, so that's reassuring. However, we've often experienced errors with statements and there's a bit of going back and forth to get them corrected. Also, the response to phone calls and email has been rather slow. We wait for a week, sometimes longer, and we have to follow up again with either another email or phone call, and it still takes at least another couple of days before

Needed advice on a Apartment Building. Legacy was right there to help. Ended up with 11% more rents than I thought I could obtain.

These folks know their stuff!

Renee did not show up for our viewing.
When we rang to let them know we were waiting for the viewing.
My husband was on hold for close to 8 mins when I rang with my cell. They were rude, and said no one was waiting. Finally they picked up the line, and then realized my husband was on hold. Then their tone changed and they were very helpful.

I asked to speak directly with a manager regarding the no-show.

I was told that there was only 2 people in the office and they would send my information to some one and they would reach out about my concern.

No one called me back regarding that no-show
