Michael Hallahan has spent almost his entire adult life with a camera in his hand. Showing talent for visual arts at a young age, he first began with graphite, charcoal, and pastels and was drawn into the darkroom through the print making process. He worked in a pro photo lab printing their custom black and white and going out on assignment to make commercial work.
He has also regularly assisted great photograhers like Story Litchfield ( Hinkley ), Bruce Cassaday ( Rolex, Buick ), and more until he felt confident in his ability to offer top notch service. In 1999, he created FinePrints. In the early days, FinePrints was as much a custom darkroom making archival black and white fiber prints for discerning photographers as it was a photographic service.

He would ask us what we liked about the photos and what we didn't like. In response to our individual answers, he restructured how he took the following photos and coached us through repositioning ourselves to get the perfect shot. After we took all

I've purchased from them dozens of times as they have the a bit of a monopoly on all of the events in the area. They seem to do all of the school team photos, rec. teams, father daughter dances, etc. that my kids participate in. They've made mistakes on orders in the past and fixed them relatively well. Their rates are alright, they charge as much or more than other photographers who often spend more time insuring they get better individual shots while doing these high volume sessions. In their defense I've seen some amazing individual session photos that they've done. I'm finally fed up because
