Growing up in Seattle, and working with kids since he was in High School at the Pacific Science Center summer camps, he is a 1999 graduate of the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Honoring in Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Shenfield completed his Pediatric training at Seattle Children's Hospital, serving as Chief Resident in 2000-2001.

The staff are friendly, patient, and great at what they do. Our daughter was very scared for her first trip to the dentist, but after the first 5-10 (patient) minutes, they made her feel at ease with the process, tools, and environment.
We even got an "I want to be a dentist when I grow up!" and "I can't wait to come back" during her visit, so I know this will be our dentist office of choice for some time.

Going to the dentist can be very anxiety producing for our 9 year old. The team at Mill Creek Childrens Dentistry has been consistently patient and kind at his visits, as well as communicative with me regarding his needs. We had the pleasure to work with Heather for the first time yesterday and are very appreciative for her extra special care and efforts. See you in 6 months!

Best children’s dentist ever! I have major anxiety about going to the dentist and wanted so badly to avoid that for my children! My almost 10 year old has ZERO fear of the dentist and actually looks forward to going because of how the staff here handle everything and loves watching a movie while they work on his teeth. My 3 year old I was worried… about because he’s in that “stranger danger” phase and I thought there was no way he would lay in that chair and have his teeth brushed and looked at. The hygienist that worked with him was super patient and great with him

Loved the dentist he is great my kids looked forward to their appointments. That being said I had one bill that was delinquent and now my kids are no longer welcome to come to the clinic it’s a shame that because of a hard time in our life where money was tight they would throw us away after years of going there. I have given many many recommendations and now will no longer do so. Shame on you for having this policy and disappointing my kids.

I am always in awe of this dentist everytime we go. The hygienists are the sweetest ladies I've ever met and so patient. One of my daughters threw a huge tantrum and refused to lay in the chair for almost ten mins. They worked with her however they could being so sweet and eventually just cleaned her teeth with her standing up. And the dentist himself is so calm, caring and patient. They really do an amazing job there!

After having a terrible dental experience at another clinic, we were recommended to try Mill Creek Children's Dentistry. The experience we had there was great! The assistant showed my daughter each tool and showed her what it does on her hand so there was no need to be afraid. They took their time answering my questions and I didn't feel rushed. Dr. Shenfield was very good and quick with my son who wanted nothing more than to get out of the chair ASAP. My daughter can't wait for her next appointment! Karisa Prosser

My daughter squeals when she knows she gets to go to the dentist! Really? She's had to have extensive dental work done, but still enjoys coming in. Dr. Shenfield is kind to Izzy and stern with me as a parent. The whole office really knows how to work with kids. I've been taking my kids there for less than a year, but they really enjoy the office. The waiting room is clean and fun for the kids. They have a wide selection of movies for the kids to watch and patiently answer all of my questions.

I've been very impressed with Dr. Shenfield at Mill Creek Children's Dentistry. The office is very child friendly instantly putting my children at ease. All the staff members are extremely friendly and interact amazingly with the children. I'm so impressed with Dr. Shenfield and his office that I've referred other families to his office.

Dr. Shenfield and his staff are outstanding! From a clean and organzied office with fun activities in the waiting room, to caring and engaging staff members! Everyone puts my son at ease. They truly explain each step of the cleaning, X-ray and procedure process in a way that makes him, and Mom and Dad comfortable. They have great hours and a great choice of movies to keep my son entertained while they work on his teeth. We always have a great experience, even the times when cavitites have had to be filled. My daughter (now 16), has been a patient at Dr. Shenfield's practice for eight years and we have always had excellent care, communication and outcomes in all those years. My kids love going here so much, I am worried they will stop brushing so they can go more often.
I wanted to add to my previous post that my 3 children, who range in age from 2-11 all feel comfortable at this location. We also bring our foster children here, some who have not been to a dentist in over 5 years. The entire staff works together to make every child feel special, welcomed, SAFE and comfortable and we can't ask for more than that!

We have been seeing Dr Shenfield for 4 years- my daughter loves his office and everyone is so great about making her comfortable and making the process go smoothly from beginning to end! They are great at explaining what is happening to both her and I and we just could not be happier! Highly Recommend!

We have been going to Dr Shenfield for the last 6 years- I have 3 children and they love going to the dentist- he and his staff make going to the dentist fun!
