Founded in 1991, Nightingale Transmissions remains the only shop that specializes in transmissions and rebuilds in McPherson County. Craig Nightingale learned all about transmissions from his uncle, and has been handling transmission repairs since he was 14 years old.

I had explored a $650 rebuilt? transmission from a guy on social media working out of his rental house but wondered what corners had been cut to do it at that price also had problems even meeting up with the guy. I took the truck to another transmission shop they replaced the A and B shift solenoids fluid and filter this solved the codes but the transmission would not move the truck in 3rd or overdrive. The only option I was given by the shop was to buy a re-manufactured transmission, pay the shop to remove mine and install the re-manufactured one.

Excellent crew, I took my 1977 Ford Ranchero GT up to them because it would not shift into third, they test drove it and it shifted fine, so we don't know why it wasn't shifting. everything works now, I had taken the vehicle apart to fix it and destroyed the transmission mount, and then bought another mount for it and they installed it for me for gratis. I would highly recommend this shop because these people are honest, friendly, considerate, and knowledgeable. Thank you Nightengale. You are excellent 5 stars!
