Delicious hotpot!! The food was fresh, the broth tasty and the atmosphere is fun and vibrant. I would definitely go back, especially with a bunch of friends since it's a fun and unique way to share a meal and socialize together. I went in on the $188 variety hotpot, and with a bunch of people, it's worth it. So many options to choose from, and if you're not feeling hotpot, they also have sushi, BBQ (Korean of course) and various other Asian dishes.
Food is number one, but atmosphere is also important as well as service, both of which score 5 stars. An added bonus is their dedicated free parking

First time I have ever been here and they gave me a pretty good impression. The food served was all prettied up and the staff are really friendly and nice. The royal house broth had a taste of boiled chicken and was very flavorful but at the same time watery and not as flavorful. If you like a chicken like broth you would most likely enjoy this. The wooden ear fungus was good but if it was in for too long it got really soggy. The beef did not taste as good as expected. It was very stiff, half cooked or fully cooked. I honestly would not come here again but if your hungry and this is the closest

Royal Hotpot is the BEST. I've had many hotpot's but this one lives up to its royal name. The hospitality is superb. They're patient with first time guest and very accommodating.I did the royal lover set combo. I was able to substitute the pork belly for shrimp and it was awesome. What I love about here is the controls for the hotpot. You can lift / drop items in mechanically. The drinks were also really good. Overall 5/5 .... Try it out highly recommend

Definitely one of my goto spots for hotpot especially in these cold winter months!
Drinks are good My top three would be Marvin's room, Casa Teal & Mango summer.
The house spicy broth is what really keeps me coming back & the Spider roll can't forget that! If you ever get a chance I highly recommend take your self on a date or bring friends this spot doesn't disappoint...you'll leave with great photos & a happy stomach!

Really trashy place. Most of the pictures you see here are fake. As you walk in you'll find out everything is out of the order. Food was terrible, service was horrible, the restaurant looks dirty.

A very nice KBBQ establishment. The decor is very modern and welcoming nonetheless. The food was delicious: the bulgogi, kimchi pancake, and the fried ice cream were my favorite. The spicy pork belly was good as well, but a little too fatty for my taste. Cheese topoki- the first time I tried them here, and the texture was fun, but didn't have a very outstanding taste-- a mild but still enjoyable blend of cheese, sesame seed oil, and spice (dish in the picture). Veggie dumplings were good as well. From drinks, I got a lychee boba green tea and it was delicious! Generally restaurants like that slack

Incredible!!! This hot pot + bbq place is a gem in Quincy. It’s used to be all you can eat style but I like now better. Meat quality is great. Seats are comfy. Table is huge! The vent beside the hotpot can make sure your cloth don’t get smoky smell. They even have a terracotta warrior at the entrance. Food presentation is also amazing!

Brought my boys here for the first time so they can try out Korean bbq. The experience was great. The food was good. However, when we got to dessert, my matcha mille crepe was somewhat still frozen. My younger brother's tiramisu cake was completely frozen. Both of my nephew's green tea ice cream was super frozen where they got tired of eating it. I could also taste the crepe thawing, if that makes any sense. I thought the bbq meat were somewhat pricey but it is what it is, we had a great time.

My daughters ordered Korean takeout, so we didn't stay, but walking in was great. The place is just beautiful. I wish I could eat there, but almost nothing is Celiac safe on the menu except ice cream. I didn't try asking if they could make something gluten free, but will next time.
The red bean ice cream was packed with the hot food when I got there, waiting at the front desk instead of in a separate bag or in the freezer like most places do.
According to my adult daughters, the bulgogi was very soupy and more liquid and onions than beef but flavorful. The hot stone bibimbap was good.

After a new makeover during the pandemic, Royal no longer has the AYCE option which is disappointing. However, now you can hotpot and KBBQ at the same time which sounds like the dream!

I came with a group of 10 for a birthday and we reserved one of the private rooms for 2.5 Horus - minimum spending is $400. We ordered one of the sets which the waitress said it feeds 8 and then ordered a few other dishes and drinks to meet that $400 requirement. The staff was friendly and checked up on us frequently. The food came through quickly and it was all so delicious.

Overall pricey for what it was but

Love this place! I've been going here since before they remodeled and while I'm sad to see their AYCE options go, the addition of KBBQ + higher quality meats is very welcome!

Royal's prices make it on the "treat yo self" once in a blue moon type of place but they literally have everything you could possibly crave in terms of Asian food and stuff it into one place and do it well.
You want sushi? Done.
You want hotpot? Done.
You want kbbq? You got it.

The meat and seafood options here are great quality and their hot pot broth is super flavorful. My mouth is salivating

Delicious food. The deco and ambiance are unmatched. Great place to go on a date or on a special occasion. Note that waiters won't tell you how to Korean BBQ, so if it's your first time, ask them or go with somebody who knows what they are doing (it's super straightforward though!).

Great place, beautiful, really nice decoration on the dishes. Nice experience. It is a little loudly and they don’t offer hotpot Buffet and I don’t like that so much, because it limits the options and the amount.

Dinner here was pretty good. I loved everything about it. I'm alittle particular on service, especially at a price point like this. The Yelp page even lists it at $$$. So that's why I took off a star.

I ordered the spicy broth and royal beef party. Great presentation, but they failed halfway by not explaining the different types of meats. I even asked her if she could tell me but I don't think she heard me.

Also I noticed on some Yelp photos that they had the bear shaped spice cube before they create the soup. Mine just came out as soup.

Sauce bar has everything you need and

So many options all in place: hotpot, Korean bbq, sushi, drinks, and even karaoke. Came here on the weekend with a couple friends to try out their hotpot and bbq. Food quality was great and with very nice presentation. We ordered the mala butter broth(medium spicy) and the tomato with beef brisket broth, both were really good. Meats and vegetables were also really fresh. My favorite was the marinated short ribs. I would come back again.

Amazing place! Awesome space, food and service. I was so pleased. I haven't gotten this good of an overall service in a long time. This was hands down my best dining experience so far! Our server made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. Food was great and prices very very reasonable. There was plenty of space between tables which made us feel safe during covid. Excellent experience overall.

The remodeled Royal is very attractive, however they no longer have the hotpot buffet style which is way better than what they have now. You're paying for the presentations, pay more than before and leave hungry.

They bring all the meat out on a cart which can obviously only be left on one side of the table. I had to be dependent on my friend to get the meat every time.

One of the best local places for a night out. Came here and the waitress was so nice and funny I would give her 5-stars for her service alone. The food was also great, it's pretty pricey but you get a lot for what you pay for. The sauce bar was also super customizable which is honestly one of the biggest things I missed since Covid started. The broth was flavorful and everything we put in came out delicious. The Beef Party platter also came with dry ice for decoration and loads of meat, sooo good.

Service is A+ and the food is delicious, not much more you can ask for.

This might just be my favorite hot pot place of all time. The service is worthy of 5 stars and the food is fresh and served quickly.
It's also the most interesting hot pot restaurant I've been to in recent memory with displays of dry ice and beautifully arranged platters.
They also have an intuitive pot that has a button that actually lifts the food out of the broth so that you can easily locate and pick out your favorite morsels that would've otherwise been lost in the abyss.
The house broth is flavorful and coats your mouth in a rich fatty flavor that doesn't overwhelm the

This was the most incredible meal! We had so much fun making it and selecting our sauces. The restaurant was clean. One could even sanitize their body upon entry. Sorry I didn't get a picture of that contraption.
Our server CELINE was super helpful walking us through the menu. Celine was also attentive. She kept an eye on our drinks and discretely checked in any other needs.
We chose the Chef's Favorite Set. We were more than pleased with the amount of food we ordered and all of the flavors at the table.
Everyone enjoyed the meal, loved the experience and all the new flavors.

Great service, decent hot pot experience
The Tom yum broth was so flavorful and tangy. We liked the tomato broth too but wished it had more flavor and substance. The beef party had 4 different cuts of meat and came in such a cool platter. Overall it's pretty overpriced but satisfied our hot pot craving. We liked the yoghurt soju drink too! Great for sharing.

This was my first experience at a hotpot. My daughters and I enjoyed this dinner.
This restaurant was spacious and very clean.
We ordered the Royal Lovers Set $88.00. This was a great value for our buck. We eat a lot. We had beef 🥩 and chicken 🍗 with plenty of vegetables. The grill and the hotpot was fun to use.
Plus the Mai Tai drink 🍹was delicious 🤤.
You get to season and cut your own food 🍱.
Must try.

I can only speak to the hotpot experience but I really liked it!! I went for lunch on a weekend and got there right when they opened which is why I felt ok using the buffet-style make your own sauce bar, but unfortunately I think they really should not be continuing to offer this during the pandemic.

I got the royal special beef party with the veggie platter and house broth. This ended up being a lot of food for two people (but doable if you're hungry!) so potentially better to share among 3 people if you can, or just order meats and veggies a la carte. The bowls and tongs and everything

No longer All You Can Eat Hot Pot. It is a la carte and they do offer combos of both Shabu Shabu and Korean bbq. The first combo we did was for $88 total and we had three people. It came with banchans. I thought the Shabu portion was better because of taste. They also have a sauce bar where you go up and mix and match what you would like to go with your food. Service was not too bad and there's plenty of parking. It is best to call and make reservations and don't trust the online reservations.

I tried this hotpot place during pre-COVID times and I thought it was pretty decent. When I heard that they had Korean dishes, I decided to give it a try. After looking at the menu, I ordered the korean fried chicken(sesame soy flavor) and the beef short ribs bulgogi.

The korean fried chicken came out to be wing dings with watered down gochujang sauce slathered on top. I thought it was supposed to be sesame soy flavor? The wings definitely did not taste like the double fried wings from other Korean fried chicken places in the Boston area.

The beef short ribs bulgogi only came with 8 pieces with

We got the $120 set which was hot pot and Korean bbq. The service was good. It's a bit pricy. The quality was just okay. The portion could be better. I can't justify coming back and paying this price. The food was okay. The Korean bbq meat could of been better marinated. The hot pot was just average. Won't be back

Meat were definitely higher quality than the old ayce. Love the new renovation turning the restaurant into an upscale hotpot and Korean bbq place. The combos are great to try both Korean bbq and hotpot.

Definitely, more on the expensive side for hotpot/Korean bbq that's not ayce. We paid $230 for four people, including tips. But it's okay for celebratory occasions.

They have a very fun cocktail menu! Catchy names like "currently busy" , "spill the tea" , "work and play". I really like the Hollywood! They also have a KTV place downstairs and I'll def
