Services
We are located in a shopping center (San Marcos Village) which is directly across the street from McDonald's and there is a 99Cent store in the shopping center as well. We are located in the BREEZEWAY of the shopping center, just BEHIND Philly Frank's Cheesteaks. There is additional parking outside and soon we'll have signage in the back too.
As should be expected, we provide all of your basic veterinary services, including but not limited to - health examinations, vaccinations, spay/neuter services, Puppy/Kitten plans, etc. If Rex has a hot spot or Fluffy is piddling outside of her litter box, we can provide a health exam to determine the best course of action to get your pet feeling better.
We have an on-site laboratory for pre-anesthetic bloodwork and critically ill animals providing fast, straight-forward tests with immediate results. This includes coagulation panels (ie: rat bait poisoning/toxicity), fructosamine slides to monitor blood sugar levels and many other critical tests are available on site.
Acupuncture was developed as a treatment long before our current understanding of modern medicine. This traditional Chinese practice was based on proposed energy channels or meridians. Although we still use these acupuncture points, channels, and meridians, we can better explain the mechanism of action in modern scientific terms.
X-rays are an important diagnostic tool in the veterinarian's repertoire. We offer the highest quality digital x-ray services on-site and can provide results in a fairly brief amount of time. Dr. Ichord or Dr. Campbell will review the images with you on a high definition iPad and communicate clearly the diagnosis.

I've taken my dogs to Dr Ichord for the past 11 years. I've seen his office have a rude vet (Dr Campbell) come & go and I've always had great care & service from Dr Ichord. Recently I have had to leave numerous messages with their answering service (during regular business hours) and my calls aren't returned. I finally get through to someone and I'm able to get my dogs in. Lately I've had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Ashley. She must be new. She makes excuses and I feel like she makes up answers to my inquiries. She gets confused and doesn't give me the answers I need and can't keep

Since I started taking my pets here I have had a great experience. The staff are responsive and go above and beyond. When my pets had emergencies they squeeze in same day appointments whenever possible. If they cannot see them, their emergency vet recommendations are very good and cost effective. They've supported my pets through injuries, seizures and a urinary blockage. They've also diagnosed heart problems and done routine dentals. All were done professionally and at a fair cost compared to other local clinics. Vet clinics around the county are very busy and I appreciate everything the staff

I started taking my dog there last May after getting him from a rescue. The first appointment was very routine and went fine. I provided them with the health information - shots/tests - that I got from the rescue so that they would have a full history of what he has had. The vet reviewed that info with me and recommended he get another rabies shot because she wasn't sure if that one would be considered valid. I listened to her recommendations and went through with her follow up suggestions. About a month later he was due
