After finishing college at the Brooks Institute of Photography, I moved to Los Angeles to work as a photo assistant to 60 different commercial photographers. I learned about art, but I needed to learn the business. I worked for leading photographers in the fields of celebrity, fashion, beauty, sports, editorial, automobile, landscape, product, pets, portraits, and food.
My experiences let me to understand all types of styles and lighting techniques. I met many celebrities, models and traveled all over the world. I eventually found my passion in the food industry. Opening in October of 1986, Solzberg Studios began as a small, scrappy photography studio and has grown into a well know agency serving clients in the food, produce and agricultural industries for over 30 years.

Services
As a teenager in early 70's I was received a Kodak Retna 3c by my father who taught me how the camera worked and explained shutter speed, aperture, how to focus and how to put film in the camera. One warm day after school, I was enjoying some watermelon and on my second piece. I thought about how cool it would look if I took a photo of my pet parakeet (Walter) eating the watermelon.
Can you send me information and samples for my packaging, advertising, brochures, convention booth or promotion? Just send us an email or make a call at (626) 487-7835, we are always glad to help. Why is it so difficult to find professional food photographer? Some photographers are not great at marketing or don't have the funds to do so.
