TWSK has been serving the North Houston area as the educational body for traditional Japanese Karate since 2002. We instruct men, women and children, 5 years of age and up, at all karate levels. At our dojo, you will have the opportunity to learn all the details of the physics, physiology, and mental attitudes necessary to be very effective in your self-protection.
Karate will also improve one's physical condition, strength, and confidence. When followed properly, karate-do training transcends into your daily life and results in a more centered individual. Impart the knowledge, values, and discipline of Shotokan Karate-Do to students of all ages. Closely supervise and instruct classes that enhance the mental and physical condition of the individual.

Services
The language of Karate instruction is Japanese therefore it is important to know the words and the techniques they refer to. This allows students to learn karate and its language across various countries. At times we have instructors from Japan and they will use the same comands and teaching methods as they do in Japan.
Bring your registration to first-class, have your child dress in loose clothing and T-shirt. Once you have signed up and paid the monthly registration fee, we will order a Gi (uniform) for your child. In partnership with The Woodlands Shotokan Dojo, we will be teaching classes in traditional Japanese Karate.

This Dojo is great! Sensei Livotto and the rest of instructors offer best quality training. There is also great support from the black belt sempais, which is a big plus. And twice a year we get to participate in SKIF´s trainings in the Houston area with World Chief Instructor and Kancho Kanazawa from Japan. Highly recommended!!

Sensei Dennis is an excellent instructor. He shows a lot of passion in teaching karate to his students. Especially, he has a lot of patience with kids. He takes care of each and every student and puts in a lot of effort for their improvement. He is ably supported by his team (Sensei Patty, Sensei Joe and others) in his endeavor.
