Shout out to Dr. Vaughn. I had to get my first crown recently and I still carry a little dental pain “fear” from a bad experience as a child. I think I manage it pretty well but Dr. Vaughn checks in all the time to make sure I’m comfortable and feel no pain. I appreciate how conscientious he is about making his patients feel safe and comfortable. In those “in between” moments where you can actually chat, the whole team is fun and personable- we really like Pure Dental and as a military family, we have had several dentists in several different states so I feel qualified to say we like

Dr. Vaughn and his staff are absolutely stellar. I could not be more content with the work and dedication they put in day in and day out to ensure a stellar dental experience for all patients. From the front desk receptionist staff, to their hygenists and dental assistants, right down to Dr. Vaughn himself - all team members are attentive, personable, and extremely professional in their trade. I have been going to this office for more than 12 years and have no intentions of changing offices closer to my place of residence. Dr. Vaughn and the team are well worth the drive.

Pleasant, that's how I would describe my overall 1st experience with Pure Dental. I needed a crown replaced, which expedited my need for a new dentist. The staff was accommodating, polite and professional. The environment very inviting. I also loved how diverse and inclusive the staff is. They have great hours that allows for flexibility with scheduling.

I worked as a dental assistant and then front office manager for years before the military moved us to Virginia. I did not disclose that information when seeking a new dentist because I wanted to see how I would be treated as someone with no dental knowledge. Dr. Vaughn and his entire staff are very professional, caring, and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and valued. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences and I completely trust Dr. Vaughn. I highly recommend Pure Dental and won’t go anywhere else for care.

I had a great experience at Pure Dental last week. I have been going for almost 10 years now and had to get fillings for the first time. Dr Mazda and Yusra were so nice and accommodating to my anxiety about the whole situation. They made it feel like a walk in the park. I really appreciate their patience and consideration. Now where to start? As a new patient at Pure Dental, refered to them by a few of my clients and friend. I must say this was a awesome awesome experience. They did not deceive me at all. I always cringe when people say dentist but today was a great day. I am home 😃 and chat(too much😁😁)with my family and i it is just nice. I had an extraction. Yes people and extraction. Pain was minimal if any to be honest there wasn't no pain i had to ask, "is it out?" It was out and i am happy 😂. The Dentists were calm, gentle and true Professionals. We originally chose this office because of the reviews and the proximity to our house. After going here for 2 1/2 years I can say we love it. The staff and Dr Vaughn are so wonderful with my 4 & 6 year old. I've even done crowns and teeth whitening here with amazing results. Recently I had to get some detailed military related dental information done and Courtney was so great and patient helping me with this whole process. My kids love getting their teeth cleaned here.

My grandson went to this dentist for a few years. He did miss 12 appointments that were paid for but some of those appointments missed were on Mondays and no way to give a 48 hr call to cancel. Never the less he recently needed to get some fillings taken care of and was refused treatment unless the services were paid up front and if the appointment missed for those services they keep the money...like if you prepay $1000 they keep your $1000. Fillings that he has done have fallen out...crowns fallen off. This practice has made a lot of money off of my grandson and he did go to this practice

I have nothing but great things to say about this office! Everyone there is amazing! So comforting & making me feel at ease during my root canal. Not only that, but the office is SO CLEAN and smells good every time I come. They always have refreshments as well! I'm so glad I started coming to this place. I've already referred a few people and will continue to do so. It's been a while since I've had an office I felt so comfortable in.

Dr. Vaughn and staff are AMAZING!!!!! They truly go above and beyond, and you are treated as if you are the only patient that they have. They are extremely thorough and are excellent when it comes to the quality of care and level of customer service that they give. This has been the absolute BEST dental visit that I have had. They made sure that I was comfortable and took their time. I am extremely happy that I have found them through a neighbor that recommended them to me. This is my new debris and I have no plans of going anywhere else. I'll be recommending others to this office to as well

I was looking for a general dentist in Woodbridge area for my uncle who needed extensive work and teeth removal. Thanks for Yelp and I sent him to Pure Dental. It was amazing how clean the reception area is. The staff in general are very welcoming. Dr. Vaughn is probably one of the best dentist we have come across. He extracted 2 of my uncle's teeth and he had no pain after the surgery. My uncle is scheduled for gum treatment because he has not been to a dentist for over 20 years. I highly recommend Dr. Vaughn and his staff.

I have no idea why this app discarded my review. Kind of angry about it because I had a really positive experience at this dentist. Good chair side manner- not stiff and awkward. They make you feel comfortable. I am very critical of dentists too! We move a lot because of my husband's job and I only WISH this dentist was where we live now. I felt compelled to re- enter my review because my experience was above the average dentist experience and the two reviews "considered reliable", to me fit the criteria to not be reliable FAR MORE than mine. I love Dr. Vaughan and his staff; I have been a patient for well over a year. Scheduling has never been an issue as it's done six months in advance. My appointment for my routine cleaning was cancelled due to the hygienist being out sick. I am terribly disappointed that they have no availability for a month or longer and are unable to accommodate me . I will now have to take off from work to take the only available appointment time they have. This is frustrating. Will I stop going to Pure Dental because of this? Of course not. But I do think something should be done to accommodate a patient

What a rip off....very disappointed with this practice. They told me and my husband I have gum disease, and needed all this work that my insurance didn't cover.....which was quiet a lot of money. So I paid out of pocket to get two second opinions and both the other practices told me I most definitely did not have gum disease. This practice has flat screen TV's, fancy X-ray machines, new this and that and frankly make their clients pay for it! I will never go back, I have great teeth, but pressuring me to have a bunch of procedures you don't need is unethical! They say they are "

Dr. Vaughn and his staff are wonderful. He is so considerate and very attentive to his patients needs. I called for a toothache and got an appointment the next day. He took extra time and care to make sure I was comfortable and feeling no pain. He gave me all the options and information about my dental work that i had to consider before letting me make a decision. After extracting my tooth yesterday (my choice) I am feeling pretty good. Dr. Vaughn even called yesterday evening to see how I was doing.
