Annette Nobuko Smith is the primary owner of Salon Nobuko. Nearly a decade after graduating from Washington State University with a BA in Business Management, Annette left the corporate world to pursue something she really loved - cutting and coloring people's hair. Annette graduated at the top of her class from Paul Mitchell, The School, Dallas and has been featured in the Paul Mitchell Newsletter.
Each client is unique and special to us. No two clients get the exact same hair color. We spend time getting to know you so we can customize your color and foil placement based on your skin tone, head shape, hair texture, personality, lifestyle, and personal preferences. Working together in this way, we are able to create a custom hair color that brings out the best in you.
Annette has been cutting my hair for years. She is a perfectionist. I have NEVER been less than delighted by her haircuts. I have white, slightly wavy hair with some crazy cowlicks. She knows how to work with all those issues. Annette is also a wonderful, sweet woman. Very impressed with this new salon!
We are hiring part time shampoo assistants who want to learn how to become successful hair stylists. Must have a current cosmetologist license. We believe in investing in our people by offering growth opportunities, ongoing technical training from Paul Mitchell National Educators, and opportunities to participate in Paul Mitchell events.

Okay, so this was REALLY weird.
I called. They said sure, we can take you in 15 minutes.
I show up.
Door is locked. That's fine - there's a sign that says to text a number to be let in.
I text.
No one replies.
No one comes.
8 minutes go by. I call the hunger I used to make the appointment.
They say oh, sorry, we'll be right there.
A further ten minutes goes by.
No one comes.
I am now leaving and filling this review out in my car. I may try again, but honestly, this was so absolutely strange that I'm not sure I'll bother.

Before going to Annette I hopped around from salon to salon trying to find "the one". Well if you're like me, stop wasting time and call Annette. Since I am used to quick haircuts I didn't realize the technical science behind hair! You can really tell Annette is passionate about her job because she takes the time to get to know you, your personal life so she can cut the hair that works for you and give you awesome hair tips and care advice. For example, she asked if I had pets.. I thought it was bizarre however she wanted to know if I went outside a lot and put my hair up, if

Annette is one the best stylist I've ever known. Her caring kinda and professional customer service is beyond what I've received before. She gives a head neck massage along with a hot towel for your hair. We set our next three appointments with the holidays coming. She was also fairly quick and efficient.
