Great atmosphere and terrific staff.
I had a surprise Birthday party for my husband and everyone was very pleased with the service and the food.

I happened upon this place by chance because I didn't actually have plans for New Years but I decided to take myself out on a date, anyways! My server Kendall was very warm and lovely :) and recommended the cucumber martini and the chicken swarma, omigoodness my taste buds were in heaven. The martini was refreshing and aromatic with the lavender liquor and the chicken and hummus were delicious I'd definitely come back again. I also appreciate how attentive and sweet Kendall was

Despite the quality of the food. Everytime I've placed a doordash order when they're seemingly "at their lowest peak" of business, they cancel my order after I placed it and then they turn off Doordash.
I also work in the industry and this is pure laziness and a lack of respect for ALL of their customers. If you can't handle the 1 hummus falafel roll I order then maybe you shouldn't be open?

Are favorite place to go for date night in the Kent area.
Great drink menu to select from. The Rib eye is a must get here. And the other half loves the Mediterranean pasta.The portions are generous and we had our wonderful server Kendal box up are desserts to go because there was no room left. Five stars across the board!

I don’t write a Lot of reviews, I have written maybe five or six. Having said that, I came in for a couple drinks before going to a concert. The owner was tending bar and I have to say, she was sweet as peaches. The drinks were honestly the best I have had in ages. This place is the best, top of the class! Loved you guys!

Came here for a celebratory meal, and it was solid. We had made a reservation for a group of 10 at 3pm on a Friday, and the rest of the restaurant was pretty empty. My husband and I got the chicken kabob entree and subbed out the rice for extra veggies. It was just what we expected- the chicken was pretty tasty, and they didn't skimp on the vegetables. The only thing I'd ding them for was the service was pretty slow, especially considering we were basically the only people in the restaurant. Overall, if you're looking for a restaurant in Kent, check this place out!

My girlfriend and I are so silly and we kept singing, "I took a pill in Ibiza" while we were here. The truth, however, is that we drank a Cosmo in Laziza! I've been wanting to go here for a while but my husband isn't huge on Mediterranean, he thinks hummus and hummus relates food is a snack, not a meal lol. So I went when my girlfriend was in town and we both really enjoyed our lunches! We got the sampler with pita and enjoyed the hummus, baba ghannoush, grape leaves, and falafel. The baba ghannoush was my personal fav, but the hummus was also really fresh and it was nice to have these sides to smother on top of our meals for extra flavor when they came. In love with the decor. We went when they were slow so we were the only customers. Our waitress was very nice and we got fast service. I got a cucumber mojito which was absolutely amazing! One of my favorite drinks around. The French onion soup was also really good as well as the crab cakes. The veggies that came with our dishes were really good but our meat was overcooked. Overall out was a good experience.

We went to Laziza for a girl’s night out get together meal. My cousin from Canton took me and our cousin out who attends Kent U, this was the place she wanted to take us. I'm from Canada and I was very impressed with the food. The food and service was exceptional. Kudos to Kent for having a great restaurant.

Had a decent experience here for dinner. The atmosphere is really cool. I love their color choices and decor. It was fairly busy on a Friday night, but not so loud that you couldn't have conversation. It was pretty relaxing.

I can't believe we stumbled onto this great restaurant in downtown Kent Ohio! We came to town to enjoy a concert at Kent Stage ( an old theater getting restored) and viewed the menu prior to dinner. It looked great, but was better than expected!
Good service, and great food, plus generous drinks at reasonable prices. The only thing lacking - the restaurant is a little noisy when busy.
BTW - try the paella. The right mix of rice, spices and seafood! Excellent!

I loved coming here when I went to Kent State, and it was a monthly treat due to price. I had the chance to go back yesterday while visiting, and it lived up to every memory I had of it.
I ordered the vegetarian sampler with extra bread and falafel instead of tabbouleh. It was absolutely delicious. The hummus and baba ghanoush were a tad acidic for my taste, but still good. The falafel is TO DIE FOR. The French fries are heavenly. I have dreams about these fries. Service was also fantastic, our server was on the spot with suggestions and recommendations, and very friendly.
