At Ballhorn Chapels, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time.
We have a wide range of resources to support you not only today, but in the weeks and months to come. We can create a customized, online memorial for you to share with family and friends. The memorial includes the obituary and any photographs you wish to provide. It will serve as a place for visitors to post condolences, share memories, upload photos, and light candles in honor of your loved one.

Shared meals have brought families together around funeral services since the beginning of time. Traditional or contemporary, the funeral reception allows family and friends to continue spending time together sharing memories and comfort. Make a catered reception or food and beverage delivery part of the funeral service for your loved one.
Having served thousands of families during the years we've been in business, we realize how difficult it is for people after the loss of a loved one. We understand that planning a funeral involves making difficult decisions at a very emotional and highly charged time. We also understand that a funeral service doesn't have to cost a fortune.
Meaningful memorialization of a loved one's passing can transform, heal, and comfort us. It highlights our loved ones' sacrifices, reminds us of the things that they value, and inspires us with their life stories. Have the Talk of a Lifetime, a program created by The Funeral and Memorial Information Council, was designed to help families have meaningful conversations about the things that matter most in their lives.

I wish I could give no stars, what an awful collection of cruel people with no compassion for a mother who very suddenly lost her oldest child. Scott and Nicole were cold hearted monsters, and I went elsewhere for help with my baby boy. I did not think it was expecting too much for some understanding for a mother who lost her first born before Christmas, very suddenly. Your staff that I mentioned by name could do well with some basic sympathy and compassion lessons.

I was treated so well by Ean, our funeral director. He was very sympathetic and compassionate. Always answered any questions I had and also reassured me when needed. He even went out of his way to provide a snapshot of my Dad’s name on the war memorial. Ballhorn is very fortunate to have Ean as their employee!

The care, empathy, and service from the staff was impeccable! Being from out of town, I was a bit uneasy with not having quite the hands on with details but they didn’t miss a beat with all the requests our family had. A HUGE shout out to Brian Block who never got annoyed with our million questions. Would highly recommend this funeral home to all!
