1973 Urbanek and Schlei Inc. formed when Glenn Pfeffer and David Reinbold purchased Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home. The first settler to the area arrived in 1848. It is difficult to find exact dates, however a letter written in 1935 chronicling the history of Kellnersville offers some insight. The first coffin maker in town was known as "Old Steve Reindl" who lived from 1824-1909.

He attended Marshfield schools and joined the United States Air Force in 1947. Dick and his parents moved to Manitowoc and he worked at various companies. In 1944, Maria was married to Nieves Longoria Sr. in Texas. Over the years the family lived in Texas, Manitowoc and Sheboygan. Maria enjoyed music, dancing, singing.

Weird situation...the funeral home employees started clipping the floral easels...if you bought the flowers...the funeral home as no business in keeping any..ANY floral easels...sketchy situation by employees. The florals are yours to keep and the funeral home doesnt even know where you bought them or "rented them" if they say they are returning them then they are lying! You get everything you bought for flowers and easels all the way to burial!!!
