School Of Shaolin Kung Fu
Our school is focused on training in the traditional art of Northern Shaolin and Tai Chi Praying Mantis Kung Fu martial arts. We are a form based martial arts system. What this means is, the movements we learn are all put together in pattern or form. We train these patterns or forms over and over until they become part of us.

We consider this the best form of self-defense training because the movements become second nature and when a situation occurs, one doesn't need to think about what they need to do, they just do it! Learn self-defense, build confidence, and get in the best shape of your lives! Martial arts has tons of physical, mental and social benefits, suitable for anyone and everyone.

I personally train at the park down the road but my review is as follows:
Based on the smiles , determined faces, and the care I have observed over the years as I've visited and now live in the area , I can only recommend this dojo to those willing to embark on their own journey and for those who want new friends and a family of fighters. This is definitely for enthusiasts or even to build yourself as warriors through discipline and consistent training.

My family has been here for almost a yr. We have meet some amazing and caring people and instructors. At 34 I started to do the class with my kids. I couldn't do a push up and now I can keep up with my kids again. I lost 20 pounds as well and my flexibility is back. It's helped my kids with adhd gets a lot of energy out. The price you can't beat it! I have three kids in class and I'm able to afford it on a lunch lady income. Sifu cares about his students and their ability to learn kung fu.

My experience at the school of shaolin so far has been overwhelmingly positive and enlightening. The people are very friendly and welcoming, and are willing to go out of their way to accommodate for everyones needs. I'm an amputee and have difficulties at times, but they are incredibly supportive and do what's necessary to help me succeed.
Thank you for giving me something to look forward to every week. You guys rock! =)

My son and I have been attending for 3 years and we really enjoy it! This is not a trend or fad school. We train in traditional Northern Shaolin and 7 Star Preying Mantis.
If you think you can show up and beat Bruce Lee after 2 classes you choose the wrong school!
Kung Fu is rooted in discipline and hard work. There are no shortcuts here!
Classes rotate through 4 disciplines; forms, chin-na, kicks and soi chow (Chinese wrestling, throws & falling).
Basically, you get out of this what you put in. Physical fitness, flexibility and stamina can all be gained here. I have found that higher sashes

My review is only based off of the free session that I went to.
I have seen their building plenty of times over the last 3 years and I always wondered what it would be like to join. Having never been in martial arts, I was rather nervous about going in for the free session, but I can say that I have no regret for going. In fact the only exception for regret I do have is not joining sooner! The people there were great and very friendly! I felt very focused and determined during the whole session as it seemed everyone else did as well. Sign me up! I can see myself only benefiting from joining. Thank

I started training here in 2001 an was hooked from the first class. This is REAL kung fu, not the watered-down modern wushu that is taught in most, so-called, traditional schools. Our lineage is documented and goes back 1500 plus years. If you're interested in a martial art, go to this school, it will most definitely not disappoint. If you're unsure, you can go in and simply try a class before making any commitments. Sifu Voss is a true martial artist, very dedicated to his art, and a great teacher. There isn't enough that I can say about this school and what it has done for me and countless others

We wanted a martial arts school that was not so focused on a belt or contract. We enrolled our five year old in the kid’s class. The instructors are very patient yet authoritative with our son and after a few lessons we enrolled our wiry fifteen year old who has finally found a physical activity he is great at and is excelling quickly.
The wife and I have joined too so the whole family participates. Besides learning Kung Fu I have improved my flexibility, balance, learned how to fall properly, and get a good work out. The instructors will stay late and work with you as will senior class members
