With a population of 26,235 (2009 US Census estimate), Carbondale is known as the "Home to Southern Illinois University; home of the Salukis!" It sits adjacent to the Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge, Shawnee National Forest and Giant City State Park, which offer a number of different activities for those who love the outdoors!
Carterville is nestled against the backdrop of beautiful Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge and Crab Orchard Lake. It is conveniently located midway between Carbondale and Marion, Illinois and home to a wonderful 18 hole golf course; aptly named Crab Orchard Golf Course! Carterville's school system is known as the Tri-C Community School District and serves the communities of Carterville, Cambria and Crainville (hence the moniker Tri-C).
A wonderful family community with a history tied to early days of mining the rich coal fields surrounding it. Located between Carterville and Marion, you'll feel the small town wonder of this lovely town with its population of 12,501 (2010 census). Herrin High School, home of the Tigers, has an enrollment of 756 students.
Conveniently located at the junctions of Routes 13, 127 and Rt 149 in western southern Illinois. It is the hometown of General John Alexander Logan and currently home to 7,970 people (2010 US Census). Murphysboro is the home of the Apple Festival! It's the oldest and largest alcohol free festival in southern Illinois.
The educational needs are fulfilled through the Vienna District 55 Elementary school (PK-8) and Vienna High School (9-12). It has a new Elementary School - as a part of the Marion Unit 2 school district which provides additional facilities for junior and high school levels located in Marion.

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Elaine and Linda on getting a new place. They were detailed, professional, responsive, and communicative throughout every step of the process. They provided incredible detail on services and attractions in the area, which was incredibly appreciated since my wife and I had no idea what to expect. As a first time home buyer Richard Davis made me feel at ease. He was very responsivr and quick to show us any house we had an interest in. He was very professional and at no time did I ever feel as if I didn't have a grasp of what was going on. I'm thankful Mr Davis was with us through the experience and if i ever decide to sell, he will be the first person I call.
