Lunch special sushi: probably the worst sushi I've had in a while. I thought I got better at filtering on yelp but maybe they just had a bad day. The rice was soggy in the sushi and the fish was not fresh. The fish had an extremely fishy taste. The rice to inside ratio was good but the taste of everything was just unpleasant. We had a side of salad and miso soup. They gave a generous portion for the salad but the dressing was not the addicting ginger dressing you look forward to at Japanese restaurants. Instead was a orange colored mayo flavor/ consistency. I discarded the dressing and used

Got the spicy tuna rolls and spring rolls. The spicy tuna was good but spicier than any sushi I’ve had before. Ordered it on Grubhub and it came quickly and the order was correct. Would recommend.

Their rolls, though smaller than regular rolls I'm used to, are freshly prepared & their prices are very reasonable. Below are a Spicy & Mild Kani Salads, Chicken Teriyaki, Philadelphia Rolls, & a Hayashi Roll from Takeshi Sushi Teriyaki! 😋👍👍

That sushi craving hit...

It was dinner time while I was at work. Wanted something healthy and somewhat quick. Yelp/Doordash brought me here.

After looking over the menu, I decided on miso soup, seaweed salad and a crazy salmon roll.

Miso Soup- Very yummy. Not overly salty and a good amount of tofu and seaweed. Very refreshing on this cold winter evening.

Seaweed Salad- A very generous portion. The "to-go" container was packed to the rim. It was flavorful. Also, to my surprise there was cucumber at the bottom. I liked the crunch element it added to the seaweed.

Order here frequently from 3rd party delivery service. Food is incredibly good. You can tell the sushi is very fresh. I STRONGLY Recommend their spicy tuna and shrimp tempura sushi rolls. Food comes fast and fresh/ well packed.

Raw chicken...undercooked rice....wish i read the reviews. Took one bite snd dumped the food in the garbage. Wouldnt even risk giving it to animals. Im not one to waste....but this was not safe.

It was a lot better than I thought it would be. I had the NY Sushi roll and chicken avocado salad. Both were good. The store is have Chinese food I think the other side is sushi. I ordered from yelp.

This place is a well hidden treasure. The chef is amazing and the sushi is fresh and like a piece of art. I highly recommended it. Make sure you try off the menu special roll called the JC Special. Prices are very reasonable. You can eat there but they also offer delivery.

As an avid sushi eater I thought the sushi was alright not the best but definitely not the worst. I ordered a maki combo which came with a soup and i was delighted to find out that they gave me a large soup which was tasty. I also ordered the edamame which I thought was a little bland could of used some salt. That three star rating could possibly be a four if I ate in the restaurant. In my line of work we order a lot of delivery so sometimes that take away from some of the tasty flavors you might not get to enjoy sitting down and eating off of a real plate. Alll in all I believe I will order again

I am so impressed with this place! They had really fresh sushi and the pieces of fish in their sushi rolls were generous in size! Prices are unbeatable, I would highly recommend to anyone wanting takeout sushi.

The food was absolutely disgusting. The chicken was grainy and full of cartilage. The beef was not suitable for a dog. It was so chewy that it couldn't even be eaten. The whole dinner had to be thrown out and the restaurant refused to make good on the bad food. Total waste. Do not order from here.

Consistent and enjoyable. A gem in the area that I'm sure will get better over time and through to the next review. To improve things, the tempura can't be bland or un crunchy and the thighs in the bento must remain juicy, but the spot is not short on flavor depth and portion. Try it.

Was craving sushi and I just came to the area.
Rolls were very small.
Spicy salmon tasted very odd. Like it was chopped in cucumber water and mayo put on top.
Shrimp tempura seemed cheap.
Wasn't horrible but nor what I'm used to.

I have not gone to the actual restaurant location, but I have ordered their food. They do deliver, I order through Grubhub, but you can also order through YELP. Delivery is always quick.

The sushi is pretty good! They have a wide selection of rolls to choose from.

The prices are great, especially the lunch time deals.

I do recommend it.

Rating it as a take out place, not high end restaurant. Decent price especially the lunch special that surprisingly good on all 7 days, as oppose to 5.
It was made fresh on the spot. I had the California Roll with 6 piece sushi, and it was fresh (again not comparing to sushi places like Nobu). Did not give me any stomach aches, since my stomach is sensitive to non-fresh food.

This sushi place is right around the corner from my house. Owners are really nice. They are related to the owners of the Chinese resturant on Bayshore road.
This sushi place has been here for maybe two years now. Very clean place. I'm really not a sushi person but I was willing to try it.
I ordered the California roll. Awesome.
But what I really love is the New York roll.
Prices are reasonable.
Yes I suggest everyone to try this place.

Fantastic sushi spot! Love it. Everything is always fresh. Great prices. Even though it isn't fancy the value and quality of the meals are awesome. Ill take affordable fresh sushi over any fancy spot.

I order take out sushi from here all the time and it's great! I usually order the party platter with brown rice, Kani salad, seaweed salad and edamame....delivery is always on time and food is fresh and good!
