Charlie and Jenn have been providing Eastern Long Island with exceptional food for the past decade. From the beginning days of The Country Rotisserie (4 locations) to today's newest endevour - Buttermilk's Chicken in East Islip. Here we are serving our tasty southern fried chicken, sandwiches and salads to an eager neighborhood hungry for new culinary choices.

I had the Roadhouse sandwich and it was soooo delicious. You could tell it was made with fresh ingredients and homemade. Best part was that I didn't feel like I was going to go into a coma like I do when I eat chicken sandwiches from fast food joints 😅 Can't wait to go back and try the classic 😋 I had the pleasure of meeting the owners and they were so nice and down to earth. I'll definitely be back and would highly reccomend!

Didn't even know this place existed until 2 hrs ago. Local to me. Just ordered 3 sandwich combo's and a 2 piece chicken meal. Everything tasted great.Only thing waffle fries that are listed on menu were substituted with regular fries without being told.. did'nt know til we got home to eat. I was REALLY looking forward to waffle fries... Will definitely order from them again

It all started with my boss telling her department about a fried chicken place one day and we decided to try it for lunch. The group order started with 4 people, then quickly increased as more and more coworkers caught a scent of the amazing fried chicken from here.

Amazing is all I have to say. Farmhouse chicken combo was delicious. Chicken was well cooked with smoked Applewood bacon so so good.. Cornbread sweet and moist . And the biscuits omg the biscuits. Hands down one of the best I've had. Moist in middle right outer texture I was absolutely in love. My only regret I did not order enough for my morning breakfast.

I was not impressed. I ordered a grilled chicken SANDWICH and the chicken was cut up into bit size pieces like you would find in a salad. Who uses chopped chicken in a sandwich? It kept falling out ever time I took a bite. My husband had a salad and wasn't impressed at all. Not a great first impression. Probably won't go back. There are too many choices out there. Sorry buttermilk....😥

We recently tried Buttermilk's Chicken for the first time, and have quickly added it as one of our "go to" places for ordering out.
The food is excellent, with a delicious batter and crispy crunch on the fried chicken and moist, tasty grilled chicken. I most recently tried the chicken salad on a pita and absolutely loved it. Don't get me started on the cornbread - it has an amazing texture and taste.
The menu is diverse and the service is outstanding. They do need to further update the ordering system on the website but not a significant concern. I also wanted to call out the great setup during

OMG. So glad I saw this place. I never order sides @ chicken places, but after reading reviews, I tried the mashed+ gravy. They didn't even need the gravy. I got 1 cornbread, something i never eat, I wish I had more. They recommended the coleslaw, I said who eats coleslaw? They gave me a portion on the house. It was so good I'll be getting it every time I go. The chicken was crispy outside, hot and juicy inside, perfect. The people that work there are so nice. Check it out for yourself, cuz I'll be going back for sure.
