I would like to share with you a little about myself, my skills and experience and let you know how I can be of help to you. I am from the UK but have been living and bringing up my family here in Northbrook for the past 23 years. It was an adventure moving to a different country but I feel that we have been really embraced by our great community and love working and raising my children here.
Please let me know if you have any questions after reading the booklet. When you feel ready to start working on reducing your anxiety, I can help you overcome worrying in one-on-one individual counseling sessions. Learning a variety of relaxation and breathing strategies which can help you reduce your overall levels of stress and help you face anxiety-provoking situations.
Worry usually involves thoughts about negative events that might happen in the future or sometimes about things that you have done or said in the past that you wish you had handled differently and now are concerned with what other people think. How can I stop worrying about everything: my children, partner, friends, work, my "to do" list.
Everyone occasionally feels blue or sad. But these feelings are usually short-lived and pass within a couple of days. When you have depression, it interferes with daily life and hurts both you and those who care about you. Depression is a common but serious illness but the majority, even those with the most severe symptoms, can get better with depression treatment.
These feelings may have crept up on you over time or might be the result of a difficult situation or transition you find yourself in at the moment. Everyone has feelings of being blue or sad occasionally but if it has persisted for more than two weeks it is most likely that you are experiencing depression.

I've been involved with Dr Sarah for over 6 months now working on numerous projects and I must say that she is an extremely professional person. She always wants to help and has even Skyped with me previously to talk about a few things that were happening with me. I really appreciate all our conversations and couldn't ask for a better client and friend.
