Finding a good stylist is like finding a good date. First impressions are everything and it's all 'bout that initial vibe. I had the pleasure of working with Mia. I booked her for makeup and she was so detailed and clean with her work! I felt very comfortable with her and she brought the look I had in mind to life. I told her exactly what I wanted and I loved it!!! I also loved how she took her time to study my face and do a look that works well with me. I would def book with her again.

I've had two fantastic services here with Tregan - first a cut and consultation about my wavy/frizzy hair and second a full highlight and trim. Each time Tregan nails it AND gives me the advice and inspiration that I need. On my first visit, Tregan really spent the time listening to how I have navigate my hair and gave me suggestions and advice, something I'm always looking for from a stylist. First off I want to say I have never been to this salon physically, however they have a beautiful website where I can order my favorite hard to find high end Davines products ! I love it ... select , click order ship and received in 3 business days beautifully packaged !! Loved it so much , I placed another order immediately. I also had made a mistake so I called and chantel was lovely and helped me resolve my own issue .... Amazing customer

Hands down best haircut I've ever had with Katherine! I am so bad at explaining what I want and she took the time to really understand. Shampoo and head massage were wonderful of course. The final look is stinking cute, I cannot get over it! She also took the time to curl my hair & teach me while doing it because I told her how I felt like I could never get it quite right at home!!! Amazing. 1000/10 recommend.

I called today trying to schedule a haircut and color consultation and was told that they're not accepting new color clients and are booked until the end of September. The receptionist didn't make any other suggestions or offer to schedule an appointment for a haircut. So, I guess this place might be good if you're an existing client or willing to wait almost 3 months for an appointment!

Im not a regular to this salon but I was lucky enough to score a last minute spot for a quick trim and left so happy all thanks to Katherine Buchignani. She asked me important questions about my hair and usual care routine before she got started which made me feel super comfortable and in control and she also made me aware of everything she was doing throughout the trim. The shampoo was more than your average treatment. She was gentle and treated me to a nice head massage different than your regular shampoo scrub that almost put me to sleep. I was lucky to get in to see Katherine for a haircut. She had never met me but she took the time to listen and clarify exactly what I wanted.
I have to say-it was the best haircut I've ever had! It was very much a precision cut. She also does a beautiful job of drying and styling. I will definitely be going back.

I have fine curly hair and it is hard to find people who know how to work with it and help the curls find their bounce. My struggle is OVER as I have now found Tragan and The Colour Bar Salon.
He took the time get to know my hair and discuss what would help me get the most bounce from my curls. Next step is the wash and OMG! It was fabulous. I almost fell asleep on the chair. Needless to say the cut was excellent and very professional.

I just want to get on here to RAVE about Tregan. He, without fail, makes my hair look SO GOOD. I'm super pregnant so needless to say don't feel my cutest these days, but every time I see him I leave wanting to spin around on the street and throw my hat in the air like Mary Tyler Moore . He's a genius with his scissors and just did some highlights on me for the first time and they're perfect. He's the best!!!!

When my hair appointment was canceled at the last moment, I was understandably upset. This quickly changed, however, when the owner, Lorena, personally called me to apologize and offered to stay later to fit me in for my hair appointment. Upon my arrival, Lorena was extremely kind and again apologized for the original cancellation. She walked me through what I could expect with the GK Keratin treatment and helped me find products that would help maintain the treatment. I left my appointment feeling relieved that I was still seen for my original appointment, and also extremely happy with the customer

Sarah Rico did a fantastic job with my hair. I had been wanting a change for a few yearsββ but was hesitant since I have curly hair. My fear was I would destroy my curls if I colored my hair,β especially since my natural hair is dark. Sarah knew how to work with my curly dark βhair. I love my hair!! This was my first hair cut from the salon and my experience was nothing short of excellence. Katherine (and Tregan) really brought to life my boring hair after not cutting it for 2 years, and I feel so refreshed and cute! They were also very helpful with sharing tips on how I can style my hair, I'm not great at doing my hair so it was a nice addition to learn some tricks :) I highly recommend coming to this salon.

Thanks to Brandy, I finally went ginger! I went in prior to the actual appointment for a color consultation to look at hair swatches and make a gameplan for my hair. She used copper shades that were still in my natural hair color range to make sure the change would look as natural as possible. The actual hair dying experience was a breeze! I got highlights, all-over color, and a gloss- I was in the salon for about 2.5 hours. I cannot recommend Brandy enough, she's the best! And I absolutely love my new hair

This place is top notch. Brandy is the best. I've been getting various forms of highlights since high school (so for over 20 years) and my color never looked as good as when Brandy touches it with her magic. You know when you show the stylist an idealistic picture of what you want? Well Brandy achieves that! She takes the time to make sure your hair is perfect. I've been seeing Brandy for a couple of years now and the color always grows out looking natural, so if I'm lazy and don't go when I need to, my hair still looks good. And the cut is always perfect too!

They do incredible work here. Never a bad experience, and I have Difficult hair. Ive worked with Cassie, Cameron, and Lorena the owner. Beautiful hair and color every time. Just be aware it can get a little pricey, especially if you want to purchase product after your cut. They promote an itailian brand called Davines which maks your hair look and smell great, i honestly cant stop smelling my hair when i put some product on. It's 100% worth it to come here for a great cut by experienced, talented, and professional stylists, if you are ready to treat yourself to something really good. πππ

Cameron Lugo is faaaaabulous! When you have naturally curly hair, most stylists leave you either looking like a Standard Poodle or straightened within an inch of your life. Cameron cuts my hair so that my natural curl shines its very best, and his masterful use of color adds a pop of fun as well. Highly recommend.

Brandy Gunter is hands down the nicest & most professional stylist I've been to. I'm going from dark to blonde, which is quite the process. Not only is my hair naturally very dark but I also had a ton of cheap box dyes in my hair. She was very straight forward and didn't sugar coat it. She told me that I cannot achieve my desired look from one session & that that her main goal is to keep my hair healthy. I had consolations previous to Brandy with other hairdressers and it was clear that they didn't care about keeping my hair healthy.

The salon itself was clean, well decorated, and smelled good. I got my haircut with Erin, who was absolutely amazing. I have naturally curly hair and Erin explained a ton about how to take care of it, and gave me lots of tips throughout the haircut. I also liked how she explained why she was doing everything during the cut. I had a vision in mind when I walked in and she delivered it spectacularly; I left with a great haircut and more knowledge about how to maintain the look I wanted and how to take care of my hair. Great experience, and I booked my second appointment immediately after I was done

Cassie at the midtown location did an amazing job cutting my hair! When I first walked in I was greeted and offered a drink (water, coffee, wine, etc.) I took a coffee, which was brewed well. Little background; I have an artistic flair and I have been cutting my own hair for about a decade. The last time I cut my own hair things went wildly wrong and so I went in to have Cassie fix it. I basically told her to do her thing as best she could and while I still have some growing out to do to undo my oopsie she really transformed my hair. Couldn't be happier, 5/5!

When I moved to Sacramento, I did not have a hair salon that I felt comfortable going to. After doing research I opted to give The Colour Bar in Midtown a try. So glad I did! As a new customer I was asked to come in for an assessment to determine the best plan for my hair. Cassie has been wonderful!! Cameron has also been great! The products they use do not irritate my head. You are treated to a head massage during the shampoo and conditioner time. Love it!

I always go to Sharon and I highly recommend her to literally anyone. Every time I go in, whether it is for a cut or a color, I'm always amazed by how easily she can read my mind. I will go in not knowing how to explain exactly what I want but i'll tell her just a couple of words about it and she puts my thoughts into words and then onto my head. Love love love!
