Steve's career in homebuilding began in 1976 when he applied his GI bill benefit for education upon discharge from the army.
He completed a building construction program at Alfred State College in 1978 and from that time forward has been building houses. He is regarded by local builders, suppliers and inspectors as having exemplary knowledge of construction, organizational skills, and customer service. He co-founded Parks & Tolpa Construction in 2010.
