I have been doing heating and air conditioning for longer than I care to remember (33+ years). Most of that time has been as an employee for other contractors, but in July of 2010 I decided to follow my heart and go out on my own. See, I love what I do, but this industry has evolved into a sales first approach and being a Christian I tend to think of others first (I put myself in the client's position).
They wanted me to sell over repair because that is what's best for the company not always for the client. Long story short I left the company I was working for and took a step of faith. It was just my youngest brother, myself, and an old truck back then, but having God in control of the company (He does a much better job than I), He has blessed me with 20 employees, 12 trucks, and we're still growing.

I discovered my Air Conditioning wasn't working after they were closed. I went on their website and submitted a "contact us". I received an email that night that they would call me in the morning. I did receive a call early in the morning to schedule a time for them to come out. They offered that morning (I had something else scheduled) or afternoon. Adam, who was great and very knowledgeable came that afternoon and got it fixed. I will continue to use them for my system!

We had a home inspector look at the home we were buying. He said "HVAC unit was turned on at start of inspection, unit is not cycling correctly." The sellers of the home hired Richmond Brothers to look at the unit. Their tech said "Technician checked system thoroughly and found system was running properly." When we moved in I noticed something wasn't right with the unit and called Richmond Brothers again. The same tech came out and said nothing was wrong with the unit again. about a week later my heat was completely out and I called another company that confirmed that the unit wasn't cycling properly

Our air conditioning unit went out on a Friday and they made sure we were comfortable going into the weekend, and helped us to be able to stay in our home instead of a hotel in this hot July weather. These people had an extremely difficult job here at my house. A change out with the air handler in the attic and outside temps near 90. They did the job and some with no complaints and came out multiple times soaking wet. It was a husband and wife install team and they were absolutely amazing to watch them together. The office was also top notch… and rushed to get the job scheduled for us knowing how long we had been without. The gentleman that came out and wrapped things up and started the new equipment was also exceptional and knowing what kind of space was in the attic never complained

Glad I found Richmond Mechanical on FB. I've used them and recommended them to others for several years. They are a true service company and I really appreciate their integrity. When other HVAC companies told us, "The entire unit needs to be replaced", Richmond Mechanical actually diagnosed the issue, found the solution and competently performed the needed repair. It saved us thousands!
