My older son used to see Dr. Toby when he was with another practice and we loved him because our son is on the Autism Spectrum and is very uneasy with doctors. But Dr. Toby was wonderful and our son enjoyed seeing him, so we were very sad when he left. Here we are a few years later and we now have another son who is 4 years old.
While seeing the dentist at the other practice, he was horribly mistreated and scared to death. After listening to his screams of terror, I immediately began searching for Dr. Toby on the internet to see if he was still in the area. No way was I going to allow that dentist near my child again.

Aurora Smiles Pediatric Dentistry is dedicated to providing a consistent and comforting dental home for children. We believe in patient education and cavity prevention at an early age with the goal to develop and maintain a lifelong healthy smile. We were referred to Dr Toby from a different dentist a couple years ago to address a cavity that my then 5 year old had. She (and I) was instantly won over by the inviting atmosphere, the staff, and Dr Toby. We had such a wonderful experience that I transferred all of my 3 littler ones there. After her visit, she was given tokens for being a good patient and carried them everywhere telling everyone the story of her visit. She was especially taken with the decor (wall stickers of various Disney characters) and always gives Baymax a tap on her way to a room. When my 2 other littles had their first

This office is exceptional. The staff was kind, and attentive to detail. The moment we walked in the door I felt like my daughter was being made to feel special, and not just another patient. You can tell they are experts in this field. Toddlers can be very unpredictable, and the staff was willing to go with the flow and remain calm all while completely the task of the exam. Highly recommended!

When you are so impressed with a place you leave a review before you even leave. They did an amazing job !! Dr. Toby and his entire staff were wonderful with my 7 and 5 year old. They were kind, encouraging, thoughtful, and exceeded my expectations. I hope that more parents have the opportunity to have such a positive dental experience for their children!! Dental work can be scary but with this I feel like my children will have a way better perspective!!

Dr Toby is phenomenal! Highly recommend him for your kids. He is so patient and explained everything he did before he did it to my 5 year old son, which helped us have a successful visit! Both my kids have only ever seen Dr Toby and we will definitely be keeping it that way! Thanks for another great visit Dr Toby!

We love Dr. Toby. He and the hygienists are so patient and friendly. They have a special way of helping my little ones(3 years and 1 year) feel comfortable. They don't rush through appointments. Both the hygienists and Dr. Toby listen to concerns and they give advice/suggestions that are meaningful. The office is also very comfortable and inviting. I am really glad we found Aurora Smiles!

I had been dreading the first dentist visit with my toddler, but needn't have worried! It was such a pleasant experience for the whole family.
Dr. Toby was engaging, confident, and respectful of my son. Jennifer was warm, gentle during the cleaning and quick with her work. Melanie was accommodating to our scheduling needs and understanding when a nap caused us to push back the appt a couple hours (so glad they had an opening!)
I wholeheartedly recommend this practice and will be bringing my kids here until they outgrow it.
