I am new to town, so finding a good mechanic is very important to me. I had read many excellent reviews for McDonnell's ATS, so I decided to take my son's car to them. His car was making horrible sounds underneath and I didn't think he should be driving it anymore. McDonnell's ATS did a full diagnostic of the car and emailed me the results, with a ranking of the importance of each recommended repair. I really appreciated being emailed that information so that I could take my time reviewing their detailed report.

My son's school helped have a car I just bought March of 2021 evaluated by ATS only, was called and told I needed my engine basically rebuilt ($900)running well over what his school could cover ($300, which ATS was informed of)so I told them to just forget it all and picked it up only to sell it to a mechanic friend for peanuts in August and find out it just needs a timing belt but it seems they did "some work" and took parts out of my car and just kept them I guess.... Also took another vehicle of mine for a tune up shortly after this and they tried to convince me my brand new ball joints and

Amazing service! This shop is top notch. Friendly, honest, professional service. Quoted an accurate worse case scenario price, emailed it to me and called me to see if I wanted to authorize and continue with repairs. They even protected my seat and floor from dirt and grease when techs were in and out of it. Repair has fixed the problem!

After breaking down while driving through Livingston, my husband and I came across this shop from a recommendation from the local barber. We are certainly happy we did! All of the crew was friendly, understanding, and communicative. When we had to leave our vehicle there, they ensured us of its safety and kept us informed of necessary diagnostics and price. The main reason I took my vehicle to ATS is they contacted my company to do some electrical work there. As I was working there everyone was friendly, the shop was spotless, the employees were professional and knew what they were doing, and the equipment they were using was the latest greatest state of the art stuff. And that's when I decided this is where I need to take my personal vehicles to have repairs done or to just have them looked over. Thanks McDonnells ATS!!

Transmission gave up outside of town. That's the bad part. I found ATS and met Aden. He took me and my dog to a local motel and had me back on the road in a couple of days. I can't say enough about the great service and the top notch transmissions. That was 5 years ago now, but I'm thinking about heading back there to get a beefier transmission for my new truck.
