Cosmetic dentistry isn't just for the movie stars! New techniques allow us to reshape your smile with minimal changes to your natural teeth. We're really excited about the feedback we're getting from our Sedation Dentistry patients. Sedation dentistry is a miracle for patients with high anxiety about dental care. It is also a great option for many patients with extensive treatment needs, since this allows them to combine multiple appointments into one longer appointment.
Services
Sedation Dentistry, or "Sleep" Dentistry, is able to reach out and provide needed dental care to those who otherwise would not receive it. Dr. Jaen, along with key members of the dental team, received extensive training from the world's leading Sedation Dentistry specialists. Sedation Dentistry bridges the gap between new technology and patient comfort.
A smile can be the most eye-catching feature of your face. Even a subtle change can make a big difference in the way you look and feel. New techniques like bleaching, bonding, enamel shaping, veneers, and white fillings allow us to create a beautiful smile with, at times, only minimal changes to existing teeth.
Teeth Whitening is actually a mild bleaching process that restores stained or discolored teeth to a healthy, natural color. Don't be misled by unproven and ineffective over-the-counter whitening solutions. Our office uses an advanced procedure that is only available from your dentist. Accidents - If a tooth has been traumatized, sometimes the nerve will gradually "die, " and the tooth becomes dark.
Dental Implants have been used successfully for many years. The implant itself is a post that is surgically placed in the jaw. A prosthesis (artificial tooth or teeth) is then attached to the post. Dental implants involve cooperation between a periodontist and our office. The surgical phase of treatment is completed by the periodontist, and the restorative phase is completed at our office.
Healthy gums are the foundation for your teeth, much like the foundation for your house. Healthy gums provide the support needed for your teeth to function as they should. Having unhealthy gums is like having termites in the foundation of your house. To the untrained eye everything seems fine, but progressive and often irreversible damage is being done.
