Kari graduated from Sidney Central School and later received an A.A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene from SUNY Broome. She strives to make hygiene appointments comfortable, hoping to put even the most anxious patients at ease. Dr. Gifford's interest in dentistry started at a very early age, allowing her to be accepted as a high school senior into a combined degree program starting at Le Moyne College and continuing at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Following graduation, she completed a general practice residency at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY.
The common phrase "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" is true, but only up to a point. While fashions and fads of beauty certainly come and go, it has been scientifically proven that people have always perceived shining, white teeth to be an enduring sign of both beauty and friendliness.

Dr Gifford and the entire staff are patient centered...our comfort and our health. They are efficient, effective, kind and compassionate and very skilled at keeping us in good dental health. They all know their patients and their needs as individuals. I have NEVER been as comfortable or as well cared for at any other practice. I would rate ten stars if I could!

I felt like they really cared that I was actually in pain. They tried to help me all they could but there was no hope for what I had and they referred me to someone who could help me. Its hard to find service like that anymore. I didn't have a dentist since dr. Bornstein retired. Now they are my dentist.

I like that I get in and out without having to wait a long time. She has state of the art equipment and although it's a little pricey, I do like the care I get. I will miss Jan, my Dental Hygentist. She is retiring, and I will miss her. Hope she has a great retirement. I don't like the fact that I have to pay up front when I have dental insurance. She is a good Dentist and knows her stuff.
