A regular inspection of your pet's mouth is important to detect early stages of periodontal disease and dental infections. Often the very first sign of dental disease is the odor that comes from the mouth. Periodontal disease is an advancing disease of the supporting tissue around the teeth and once infected can lead to the loss of teeth.
Our machine utilizes a low dose radiation image capture without sacrificing clear, high-quality diagnostic images. Along with this type of high-quality imaging we are able to email our X-rays to Telemedicine services to further reviewed by a specialist when necessary. X-rays are a great tool to diagnose suspected injuries from a trauma, broken bones or looking for a foreign object that a patient has swallowed.
We have an in-house ultrasound that we are able to perform Pregnancy checks and Limited views of organ function. We also utilize East Coast Veterinary Imaging for a more in-depth look of the heart, organs in diagnosing certain diseases. East Coast Veterinary Imaging is Central North Carolina's largest veterinary imaging specialist group, providing on-site mobile abdominal and cardiac ultrasound.

Brought my dog in for a simple bandage change (he has a splint wrap that needs changing weekly) and some more pain medication for his broken toe. He had gotten his cast wet (the protective bag kept ripping) so we bought our own supplies and re-wrapped the bandage until we could get an appointment somewhere for them to make sure he hadn't got a rash because of the wet cast.
My request was clear, 1. bandage change, and 2. To check that he didn't have irritation under the damp cast before they re-wrapped it.
The Dr kept suggesting that we give him a sedative daily on top of his pain medication to

Nice facility, nice doctors. But they will charge you for every little thing and 20 percent more than any other vet. After boarding our 3 boxers twice in a month, (over 3,000 later) we noticed after reviewing the bill when we returned home that they charged $2 per pill to administer our dogs medications. Over $30 later. Never consulted with us or reviewed the bill when we checked out. We called 3 other loc vets and they said we would never charge to administer medication. All 3 of our dogs came down with kennel cough. Today our oldest boxer woke up throwing up and very sick. Lastly our youngest

These guys are absolutely amazing! I've been coming here for a while and they've always been professional, prompt and inexpensive.
My mother's dog after being on the road for two days fell ill and they were able to fit him in less than two hours of calling them.

I would recommend this vet a million times. My pup ingested amoxicillin this morning and I called and they were able to get in her immediately without having a long wait time as well and she’s never been but I will definitely be switching to them as our primary vet from now on. Thank you guys so much!

Dr. Kate Davis and the veterinary assistants are absolutely marvelous! I have a high anxiety dog and never once have I seen her roll over on her back to get belly rubs at a vet office. They treated her on the floor instead of on the table just so she would be calmer during the exam. They are wonderful people who truly love animals. Dr. Kate is Tango's doctor from now on!

Took my chocolate lab there once. We have been looking for a new vet recently and took Dakota here. Our vet was great (sorry I can’t remember her name). Unfortunately I think we will continue looking for a new vet for our pets.
Today My lab took a tumble playing and I called to see if they could get her in for an emergency visit as this is something that they offer. I described the injury to the receptionist and she told me that unfortunately they couldn’t get us in today. Part of me wants to give them the benefit of the doubt but there was very little effort or concern on their end it seemed

Very loving and kind staff. I took my beloved dog here as my regular vet would not allow me to be with my pet when I had to put her to sleep.
They were kind and could not have been more helpful from scheduling my appointment to giving me all the time that I needed to say goodby to my Sweetheart lying in my arms. I will be forever grateful for their kindness and compassion.

We are so fortunate to have Aardvark nearby! We had a Friday night emergency with a cat, and the folks at Aardvark couldn't have been better. I called ahead to seek advice and was told upfront about the visit fees. They are very comparable to any animal hospital around. Dr. Feola and his staff were so kind and helpful. We were in and out WAY… quicker than we would have ever been at VSH or NCSU. I have already recommended Aardvark to friends and family and will continue to do so. I feel SO lucky to have them right down the road! Thank you, Aardvark!

Be hospitable, not have such outrageous prices before even treating my dog, have a down payment plan, tell people about the initial 130 dollar fee before bringing them into a room and having their pet looked at. Take into consideration that pets are more important than money. Horrible horrible, experience.
