My previous renting experience was a nightmare at my old apartment building. I could never get help from the property management and they would always screw up any maintenance work and ignore my calls or disregard my issues and I thought this was common standard for renting.
I am now living at Avera Place in one of the townhouses and it has really been a great experience so far, when I have any issue they are very quick to resolve issues, and resolve them properly and correctly the FIRST time.
I highly recommend it here!

Let me just start with the fact that I am absolutely disgusted with the maintenance service at this place. I cringe everything I have to call maintenance. This place has 100's of units and one maintenance person...YOU DO TE MATH..I've had multiple issue prior to this last one but this topped them all and I was compelled to write a review. My refrigerator recently broke down and I Called the leasing office to report what happened and to request that maintenance came out and fix the issue. A day after no one called to follow up. By this time all of my food had gone bad. I contacted the corporate

As others have discussed this facility has a serious mold/mildew issues. I’ve requested maintenance assistance 3-4 times. Each time they poured bleach on the sink floor but shortly after the smell hits you when you come in my door. My dad told me to get the products in the pictures and it has helped. However it is unfortunate that the property management maintenance will not do their part (in many different areas - mold, toilet, front door issues). Especially when they receive rent faithfully every month. Please beware.
I’ve attached images from my kitchen.

We moved to Avera Place a year ago. So far our experience with this residents has been a good one. When we needed repairs done, we didn't encounter any problems. The repairs were done to our satisfaction and in a timely manner. When we moved in, we did a walk about with the property manager and found that the place was clean and in good condition. We were also given a form to fill out if we found anything that needed to be repaired or replaced. We have had a couple of encounters with the management office. They were friendly and accommodating.

I am posting this review in hoping to help others and their health. I lived in a 1 bedroom apartment, 1st floor. This apartment complex has a very serious mold issue that is unresolved. After speaking with other residents, this is an issue that is happening in multiple buildings. I lived in this apartment for over 2 years, with reoccuring mold being present for 9 months! Mold was found on the windows, bathroom floor, items in the master closet and bedroom, got into the air ducts and in the HVAC unit (that had to be replaced, and that did not resolve the issue), toliet bowls and front door. We stayed at Avera in a 1 bedroom apt for 2 years. The only Pros of this apt is the location and the amount of space you get for a one bedroom apt compared to the other complexes. Management changed several times while we were there and each time it got worse. The office hours changed to inconvenient times (closed on weekends, etc). The office hour changes affected getting packages from the office which was not a organized system either. There was only one maintenance guy for the whole complex who was friendly but it took days to get him out to fix things. All the windows in the complex needed to

This place is becoming a dump. People partying all the time, trash is all over the place, you only get one parking spot, someone always takes it and there's nothing we can do about it, the pool is a local party spot for everyone outside of the neighborhood and there is no help for loud music. You just have to deal with it. I can't wait until my lease is up.the management is very poor and does not reinforce any rules.

I'm very disappointed in this neighborhood as a returning resident. I lived in the townhomes on the other side of the neighborhood and loved it. After the rent up to where I couldn't afford, I had to move, but moved back when I was able to afford one of the apartments (a second floor) a few years later.
I've lived here for two months and have had nothing but issues.
1. My upstairs neighbors are EXTREMELY LOUD. Ugh. I have tried fans, white noise, turning my TV up loud, and even sleeping with headphones and they still come through loud and clear. When that didn't work, I confronted
